この季節になると、皮膚が乾くのか体中が痒くなる。特に背中や脇などがかゆいのだが、病院にかゆみ止めのクリームが売ってあったのでそれを塗ることにした。今日で2回目なのだが、この塗り薬というかクリーム臭い日本で言うサンポールの匂い。サンポールとわかりますか。そのトイレの芳香剤の匂い。なんか体中がトイレみたいな匂いがします。確かに少しの間軽くなくなるのですが、結構鼻を抑えたくなる感じです。でもかゆいの方が嫌だ。

 

When this season comes around, my skin gets dry, and my whole body starts itching. It’s especially bad on my back and underarms. I found an anti-itch cream at the hospital, so I decided to give it a try. Today is my second time using it, but this cream has a really strong smell—kind of like Sanpol. Do you know what Sanpol is? It’s a toilet cleaner in Japan, and this cream smells just like that. Now my whole body smells like a toilet freshener. The itching does go away for a while, but the smell is so strong that I feel like holding my nose. Still, I’d rather deal with the smell than the itch.
