I really think there is a need for good american food restaurant in Japan. And if I had time in Japan to do it myself, I would succeed. But that does mean I have to leave Seattle and move to Japan.
For that reason, this venture is seeking partners in Japan instead of doing it myself.
We are experimenting other sales media ... It is a learning time.

How do people find your product from the pile?
Is online sales 100% based on pricing only?
The answer is "YES" 98% of the time.
There t=are three factors ...
(1) Branding / Recognition / Marketing
(2) Support / Aftercare / Reviews
(3) Pricing
Well, (1) and (2) do not matter if your pricing is high?
I will test out the pricing next week ... Let's see if my theory is correct.
With in few minutes, we already had two people viewed.
Our goal is to establish online sales mechanism for Uchikura & Co. Once the channel (method / Mechanism) is established, we can bring in more products from and to all over the world.
We have developed the online sales page under http://www.uchikura.co ... http://www.uchikura.co/shop/ and used Facebook advertisement to promote it. It sold some, but not as much as we hoped for. So we stopped Facebook advertisement for now.
As an experiment, we have posted the product on eBay today. Everyday, we try something and learn something.
