Practice Makes It Perfect ...

What does "Practice Makes It Perfect" mean?
It means, you practice, you get better.
I played golf for the first time in 4 month yesterday.

I shout 43 for the first 9.
That was without any warming up.
We quit after 14 because it was getting too warm.

43 is no worse than when I was playing every week.
What it tells me is that I have never practiced golf even when I was playing every week.

Is it a geed news or bad news.
Since I am playing golf for fun, practice makes it a work.
So I will keep playing for fun without practice.
