聖書を字義どおりに解釈するべき理由
❶解釈の目的からして必要なことゆえ
神はご自身を聖書著者を通じて啓示された。
その啓示の内容は一貫している字義通りの解釈でなくては明らかとならない。
主観的解釈は解釈者を聖書の上に置くことにつながる。
❷あらゆる種類のコミニケーションに調和しているゆえ
恣意性排除して最も自然な意味に取る解釈法が字義通りの解釈。
それは文脈を重視して解釈する方法。
比喩は比喩として解釈する。
学者の間では「歴史的・文法的解釈」と呼ばれているものである。
❸それは聖書の権威、また究極の著作者である神の権威を認めることに繋がるゆえ
聖書解釈は、
意味の汲み取りであり(exegetical)
意味を読み込むこと(eisegetical)ではない。
聖書は帰納的に読むべきであり(inductive)
演繹的であってはならない(deductive)。
帰納法とは、数多くのテキストの意味を発見し、そこから調和ある神学を構築すること。
演繹法とは、まず枠組みとなる1つの神学体系があり、それに調和するために各テキストの意味を確定していくもの。
字義どおりの解釈法は、聖書の意味を汲み取ること(帰納法)で聖書の権威に伏している。
意味の読み込みや押し付けは、その解釈者が聖書よりも優位に立っていることを意味している。
聖書神学とその解釈学の発展段階においてギリシャの影響を見逃わけにはいかない。
と言うよりも、ギリシア文化とその哲学に正当な聖書解釈が飲み込まれてきたと言っても過言ではないと思う。
アレキサンダー大王が地中海を内海とする中近東一帯を征服・統一して以来、ギリシャ文化はユダヤの伝統や文化を凌駕してきた。
ディアスポラのユダヤ人最大都市であるアレキサンドリアで旧約聖書が初めて外国語に翻訳されたが、それはもちろんギリシャ語であった。
70人訳と呼ばれているそのギリシャ語訳旧約聖書は、より古い写本が発見管理されていることから今日でも時に原典ヘブライ語聖書よりも権威があり、信憑性あるとみなされる。
そして新約聖書は当初からギリシャ語で記されている。
❶アレキサンドリアのフィロン(BC.20-BC50)
聖書解釈する際にギリシャ哲学を根本とした手法を用いた。
さらにユダヤ的思想とギリシャ哲学を融合させるための比喩派解釈を採用している。
❷殉教者ユスティノス(100-165)
著作の「ユダヤ人トリュフォンとの対話」の中で聖書を既に比喩的に解釈している。
❸オリゲネス((185-254)
フィロンの聖書解釈法を採用・発展させ、1つの聖句には3重の解釈が可能であると主張した。
＊字義どおりの解釈
＊道徳的霊的解釈
＊比喩的解釈
彼は文字通りの千年期前再臨説を放棄してキリストの再臨を比喩的に解釈した。
つまりキリスト信者となるときに、キリストがその人の内に臨まれるので、それが再臨であると解釈した。
❹アウグスチヌス(354-430)
2面的解釈を採用した。
＊予言の部分は比喩的に解釈する。
＊それ以外の箇所は字義どおりに解釈する。
アウグスチヌスほど西方教会に大きな影響を及ぼした神学者はいない。
この聖書解釈法がローマカトリック教会の手法となり決定的なものとなった。
聖書解釈を逸脱させた最大の戦犯である。
❺ 16世紀の宗教改革者たち
聖書の多くの部分を字義どおりに解釈する運動であった。
よって善行ではなく信仰義認、万人祭司主義と言う本来の教理を復活させた。
しかし予言箇所とIsraelに関しては比喩的解釈のままを維持した。
つまりそれはアウグスチヌスによる2面的解釈の継続である。
❻第二世代の宗教改革者たちに聖書解釈の復興の芽生えが見える。
ジョセフ・ミード(1586-1638) :イギリスの聖公会神学者
1世紀から3世紀においての教会歴史の初期の時代は、千年期前再臨説が正統的な信者の間で最も支持を集めたものであった。それは「キリアズム」呼ばれ、多くの教会教父たちが証言するところである。長い間教会史から忘れ去られていたこのキリアズムを採用したのがジョセフ・ミード。
❼特にイギリスにおいて18世紀になるとこのキリアズムの復興が顕著となる。
＊神の霊感と聖書の権威に対する信頼が土台である
＊健全な聖書研究が広がった
＊聖書本文の字義どおりの解釈の結果である
＊復興したこの千年期前再臨説はその後20世紀まで続く根本主義運動における主要な役割を果たした。
❽ イギリスで復興したこの千年期前再臨説は、19世紀の第3四半期には米国で広まるようになった。

The influence of Greece in the development of biblical theology and its hermeneutics cannot be overlooked.
Rather, I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that legitimate biblical interpretation has been swallowed up by Greek culture and its philosophy.
Ever since Alexander the Great conquered and united the entire Middle East, with the Mediterranean Sea as an inland sea, Greek culture has surpassed Jewish traditions and culture.
In Alexandria, the largest Jewish city in the Diaspora, the Old Testament was first translated into a foreign language, but it was, of course, in Greek.
The Greek translation of the Old Testament, known as the translation by 70, is still sometimes regarded today as more authoritative and authentic than the original Hebrew Bible, as older manuscripts have been found and maintained.
And the New Testament has been written in Greek from the beginning.
❶ Philon in Alexandria (BC20-BC50)
In interpreting the Bible, he used a method based on Greek philosophy.
In addition, he adopted a metaphorical interpretation to combine Jewish and Greek philosophy.
❷ Justinos the Martyr (100-165)
He has already interpreted the Bible figuratively in his work "Conversations with the Jewish Truffon
❸Origenes (185-254)
Adopting and developing Philon's biblical hermeneutic, he argued that a threefold interpretation of a single verse is possible.
*Literal interpretation.
* Moral and Spiritual Interpretation
*Figurative interpretation
He abandoned the literal pre-millennial second coming theory and interpreted the second coming of Christ figuratively.
In other words, he interpreted it as the Second Coming because Christ will come in him when he becomes a Christ-follower.
❹Augustine (354-430)
He adopted a two-sided interpretation.
The prophetic part is to be interpreted figuratively.
The rest of the passage is to be interpreted literally.
No theologian has had a greater influence on the Western Church than Augustine.
This method of biblical interpretation became the method of the Roman Catholic Church and was decisive.
He was the greatest criminal who deviated from biblical interpretation.
❺ The 16th century religious reformers.
It was a movement to interpret many parts of the Bible literally.
Thus, it revived the original doctrine of justification by faith and all-priestcraft.
But with regard to the prophecies and Israel, it maintained a figurative interpretation.
In other words, it is a continuation of the two-sided interpretation by Augustine.
❻The germ of a revival of biblical interpretation can be seen in the second generation of religious reformers.
Joseph Mead (1586-1638):English Anglican theologian.
In the early years of church history, from the 1st to 3rd centuries, the theory of the pre-millennial second coming was the one that gained the most support among the orthodox believers.It was called "Chiliasm" and is attested to by many of the Church Fathers.Joseph Mead was the one who adopted this Chiliasm, which had long been forgotten by church history.
❼ Especially in England, in the eighteenth century, this revival of Chiliasm became remarkable.
*The inspiration of God and trust in the authority of the Bible are the foundations
* Sound Bible study has expanded.
*It is the result of a literal interpretation of the text.
*The restored theory of the pre-millennial second coming played a major role in the fundamentalist movement that continued into the 20th century.
❽The pre-millennial second coming theory, which had been revived in England, became widespread in the United States in the third quarter of the 19th century.

これも各人による解釈による。
ユダヤでは聖書時代も今日も、1日の始まりは日没から始まる。
そして翌日の日没でその日が終わる。
安息日とは、金曜の日没から土曜日の日没の24時間である。

中川健一先生の講義は、単純な言葉で深いことを突き刺さして歯切れが良い。
「神学とは解釈学である。
解釈学とは神学である」
キリスト教界には、特に終末論において様々な神学がある。
よって解決のつかない泥沼にハマった議論として揶揄されて、政治の世界にも使われてきた。
かつて前小泉純一郎首相が安保法案を審議中の国会で、
「神学論争はしません。常識で行きましょう」といった言葉が思い出される。
なぜ同じ聖書から様々な神学が派出してきたのか。
それは聖書をどう解釈するか、各人がまちまちであるからだ。
各人が感じたことを主観的に解釈するなら、10人が10通りの解釈ができてしまう。
聖書を解釈する際には、踏み外してはならない原則があり法則があると言う。
〜福音的聖書解釈とは〜
①聖書は1人の理性(人格)の作品である。
②約40人の人間の聖書記者がいるが、究極の著者は神である。
③それで正しい聖書解釈が体系的で調和ある神学を生み出す。
④正しい聖書解釈とは字義どおりの解釈である。
⑤字義どおりの解釈の結果生まれてくるのが、ディスペンセーションナリズムである。

字義どおりの解釈とはどういうことか？
難解なところ、特に預言の聖句はこれまで比喩的解釈が施された。
字義どおりの解釈でなく、比喩的・霊的解釈をどれほど施しているかによって、貴方の正当な神学からの逸脱距離が測られる。
これら最後の3センテンスは、私が独自にまとめたものです。

Do I see this as a loss of his father's power and authority?
Do I rejoice in my son's growth?
It's up to me how to interpret it.
When I reached the high ground, half of the falling sun had left its face on the horizon.
I could look at the sunset and feel a sense of desolation at the end of the day, or
Do I feel a sense of relief at the end of the day?
This, too, is up to each person's interpretation.
In Judaism, in biblical times as well as today, a day begins at sunset, and the next day ends at sunset.
The Sabbath is the twenty-four hour period between sunset on Friday and sunset on Saturday.
For a few days when my iPhone didn't work, I went back to analog world and listened to CDs while driving.

Dr. Kenichi Nakagawa's lecture was so crisp, using simple words to pierce the deepest things.
”Theology is hermeneutics.
Hermeneutics is theology.”
There is a variety of theologies in Christian world, especially in eschatology.
It has therefore been derided as a debate mired in an unresolvable quagmire, and has been used in politics as well.
Former Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi once said in the Diet during the debate on the security bill.
‘We won't have a theological debate.Let's go with common sense.’
Why have so many different theologies emanated from the same Bible?
It's because each person has his or her own interpretation of the Bible.
If each person subjectively interprets what he or she feels, then ten people can interpret it in ten different ways.
When interpreting the Bible, there are principles and laws that should not be overstepped.
~What Is the evangelical biblical interpretation?
(1) The Bible is the work of one GOD reason (personality).
(2) There are about 40 human Bible reporters, but the ultimate author is God.
(3) So a correct interpretation of the Bible produces a systematic and harmonious theology.
⑷Correct biblical interpretation is a literal interpretation.
⑸Dispensationalism is the result of literal interpretation.

What does it mean to interpret the word literally?
Difficult places, especially prophetic passages of scripture, have been given a figurative interpretation so far.
The amount of figurative/spiritual interpretation applied, rather than literal interpretation, will determine the distance you deviate from the legitimate theology.
These last three sentences are my own summation of them.
I will continue with what I learned from this seminar CD for a while.

もちろん時代や社会の趨勢や長年から培われた経験則が大まかの結果を推論することが出来るでしょう。
しかし神に関する限り神のなさることを人間の浅はかな論理や経験で型枠の中に押し込めることは愚かな事です。
ですから私たちは他人の評価やこれまでの前例にとらわれることなく神に新たなことを期待するのです。

②今滅ぼされずに生き延びたではないか[現実を見よ]
この哀歌を残したエレミヤはエルサレムがバビロンによって蹂躙され、老若男女問わず惨殺され、おぞましい現実を目のあたりにした。しかし一握りのものが残されまた捕囚となって連れていかれた。そこにも主の哀れみを見出した。愚かさと罪のゆえに悩みと裁き、呪いにさらされているものであったとしても、今ここに生きているのは、主に生かされているゆえである。
③主の真実は力強い[信仰の根拠を確認せよ]
暗闇に光を待ち望み、新しい朝を待望するのはなぜか。その根拠はどこにあるのか。
自分自身の内にある信心深さによるのか。だとしたらなんとも頼りない。
朝毎に刷新される主の恵みの約束の根拠は、主ご自身の真実によるもの。
主はご自身の命を賭して約束された。
「我が子よ。
わたしがあなたを贖ったのだ。あなたの罪は赦されている。
わたしの命をあなたに与える。あなたは永遠の家に招かれている」
主ご自身の血潮を持って締結された契約が破棄される事は無い。
たった今、オリンピック山脈は朝日を受け、その不動の勇姿を現してくれている。
10日間のアリゾナ・ユタ・モンタナ・アイダホでのキャンプ生活とロードトリップからの帰り道にある娘たちは昨夜、初めてホテルのベッドで一夜を過ごした。キャンプサイトが既にいっぱいだったので深夜過ぎの午前1時半にホテルに駆け込んだのだった。しばらくぶりの快適なベッドで活力を取り戻した彼らは今日、約5時間のドライブで帰宅してくる。
イエローストーンでは野生動物にこんな近くまで近づいて大丈夫なのかとハラハラする写真を送ってきた。

It's new every morning.
〜From this morning's devotional note
This morning was also renewed [new awareness]
Waking up, breathing exercises, stretching, and drinking lemon water and exercising.
As every morning my usual morning routine began.It was a morning that felt monotonous and rutted.
As we walked, however, I noticed that the air was fresh and the leaves in the grove were already changing color.
We need new grace for this day and for this moment.
Our Creator is pouring out His overflowing grace today.
(2) You have survived not to be destroyed now [look at the reality].
Jeremiah, who left this lament, saw the horrific reality of Jerusalem being overrun by Babylon and slaughtered, young and old, men and women alike.But a handful were left behind and taken into captivity.There, too, he found the Lord's compassion.
Even though we were subjected to troubles and judgments and curses because of our foolishness and sins, we are still alive here because the Lord has made us alive.
(3) The truth of the Lord is powerful [confirm the basis of your faith].
Why do we wait for the light in the darkness and long for a new morning?
What is the reason for this?
Does it depend on the faithfulness within ourselves?If so, it's not very reliable.
The basis for the promise of His grace to be renewed in the every morning is due to the truth of the Lord Himself.
The Lord has promised it at the risk of His own life.
'My child,' he said, 'I have redeemed you.
I have redeemed you.Your sins are forgiven;
I give you my life, and you shall have it.You have been invited to your eternal home.’
The covenant made with the Lord's own blood will not be broken.
Right now, the Olympic Mountains are catching the morning sun and revealing their steadfast statue.
My daughter and one family member, on their way back from a 10-day camping and road trip in Arizona, Utah, Montana and Idaho, spent the night in their hotel bed for the first time last night.
They rushed to the hotel at 1:30 a.m., because the camp site was already full.They'll be making the five-hour drive home today, having not had a comfortable bed in a while.
In Yellowstone, they sent me a picture of a wild animal that made me nervous, wondering if it was safe enough to get this close to it.
My son made his own breakfast this morning.
All the ingredients are vegan.
My son, who could only pour milk on his cereal, has developed the skills to live so far.
Truly the Lord's truth is powerful.
He gives each of us new blessings and strength to live and sustains us today.
“I remember my affliction and my wandering,
the bitterness and the gall.
I well remember them,
and my soul is downcast within me.
Yet this I call to mind
and therefore I have hope:
Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed,

2週間ぶりにようやく、シアトルの夕日を見ることができました。
オリンピック山脈もくっきりと見えます。
気がついてみれば「中秋の名月」を超えたばかりの頃となっています。
夏至の頃はオリンピック山脈中央からさらに北側にあった日没地点は、ずっと南に移り山脈を外れたところとなっていました。
その名月は、細い三日月となって南の空に上っています。
山火事からの厚い煙に閉ざされたときには、夕日を再び見ることができるんだろうか、と不安になるほど堅く空は閉ざされていたのです。
目の前にある現実が重ければそれだけ、私たちの視野は狭くなるようです。
数日前、定例オーナー会にズーム参加した際、スクールバス・ドライバーの状況が懸念されていました。各学区には数十名のバスドライバーが公務員として正規に働いています。
この3月から学校はどこも休校ですから、仕事自体はありません。公務員として給料は支払われています。
ところが近い将来に予算が尽きると言うことで、大量解雇の可能性が噂されているのだそうです。ドライバーたちは、学校の修繕でも何でもするから、と申し出ているそうです。
もし解雇なると、やがて学校が再開されても必要なドライバーが確保できる保証はどこにもありません。そんなことで教育委員会としてもどうしたものかと、判断に迷っているようです。
オーナー会と同じ日、シアトル地区の定例牧師会も開かれました。
その牧師会に連なっている中にも2人の牧師・宣教師が正規のスクールバス・ドライバーとして勤めておられます。
学校も各事業も閉鎖が続けば、そのまま生活に響きます。
先行きの見えない苦しい中に置かれているのです。
しかし忘れてならない事は、やがてその霧も晴れる時が来ると言う事。
必ずやってきます。
必ずコロナの霧が晴れて、輝かしい夕日に照らされる時が来ます。
"あなたがたが経験した試練はみな、人の知らないものではありません。
神は真実な方です。
あなたがたを耐えられない試練にあわせることはなさいません。
むしろ、耐えられるように、
試練とともに脱出の道も備えていてくださいます。"

After two weeks, I finally got to see the sunset over Seattle.
The Olympic Mountains are clearly visible.
I noticed that we have just passed the "Mid-Autumn Moon".
At the time of the summer solstice, the sunset point, which was further north from the center of the Olympic Mountains, had moved farther south, off the mountain range.
The famous moon was a thin crescent in the southern sky.
The sky was so tightly closed that I wondered if I would ever be able to see the sunset again when the thick smoke from the wildfires closed in.
It seems that the heavier the reality is in front of us, the more limited our vision becomes.
A few days ago, when I zoomed into a regular owners' meeting, the situation for school bus drivers was a concern.Each school district has dozens of bus drivers working full-time as government employees.
All of the schools have been closed since this March, so there is no work itself. Still They are paid as public employees.
However, they are rumored to be running out of budget in the near future and there are rumors of mass layoffs.The drivers have offered to do whatever it takes even to repair the school, they said.
If they are laid off, there is no guarantee that the school will be able to get the drivers it needs when it eventually reopens.The school board is not sure what to do about it.
On the same day as the owner's meeting, the Seattle District's regular pastors' meeting was also held.
There are two from pastor and missionary in the group who are also serving as regular school bus drivers.
If the schools and businesses continue to close, it will affect our lives.
We are in the midst of a difficult situation where the future is uncertain.
However, what we must not forget is that there will come a time when the fog will be lifted.
It will come.
The time will surely come when the fog of the corona will be lifted and we will be bathed in the glorious sunset.
“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind.
And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”

いつもなら青い空に乾ききった風、地上の楽園を思わせるようなSacramentoですが、今回ばかりは異なります。
灰色と黄色の混ざったようなどんよりとした雲に世界は覆われ、常に吹き荒れる風には黄色い砂塵を巻き上げています。
カルフォルニアのあちこちで発生している山火事の煙が運悪く風に乗せられて此処にまで届いているのだそうです。
楽園から世の末を思わせるような豹変ぶり。
いつもシアトルの夕日を見て心洗われている者には、なんとも厳しい現実。しかしこれも現実世界の一端に過ぎません。
目の前の世界が楽園でも荒廃していても、私たち自身の命をそこに預けているのでは無いのです。
やがて受け継ぐ世界、そして確かな存在がわたし自身のうちにある限り、永遠の家へ向けられた足取りに狂いはありません。
今日はタイミングが合いませんでしたか、明日にはMikuniレストランに伺います。
この数ヶ月間暴徒によって何度もガラスが割られ、お店の中を破壊され、机や椅子まで盗まれた試練の中をくぐり抜けて来られたレストランです。
「Mikuni (御国)= Kingdom of God(神の王国)」
聖書予言によると世界はいよいよ混乱と自然災害により破滅の方向へ向かいます。その後、新しい世界の出現が、その統治の性格によってこのように名付けられているのです。
その御国の楽しさと安らぎ、おいしさを前味わいさせてくれるのがこのレストランです。
"時が満ちて計画が実行に移され、
天にあるものも地にあるものも、
一切のものが、キリストにあって、
一つに集められることです。
またキリストにあって、
私たちは御国を受け継ぐ者となりました。
すべてをみこころによる計画のままに
行う方の目的にしたがい、
あらかじめそのように定められていたのです。"
エペソ人への手紙 1章10～11節
Normally the Sacramento seems like a paradise on earth, with blue skies and dry winds, but this time it's different.
The world is shrouded in a cloudy mix of gray and yellow, and the constant winds blowing in a yellow dust.
The smoke from California's many wildfires is unluckily being carried by the wind to this place.
A change from paradise to the end of the world.
It's a harsh reality for me who have always been purified by watching the Seattle sunsets.But this is just one part of the real world.
Even if the world in front of us is a paradise or a desolation, we don't owe our own lives to it.
As long as I have the world to inherit and a certainty of existence within me, my steps will be consistent heading to my eternal home.
I'll be at Mikuni Restaurant tomorrow, for the timing isn't right today.
This is the restaurant that has gone through an ordeal of broken glass, vandalism, theft of desks and chairs, such many tribulations over the last few months by rioters.
Mikuni (Kingdom of God)
According to biblical prophecy, this world is finally headed for ruin through chaos and natural disasters.Then the emergence of a new world will come, which is named thus by the nature of its reign.
It is this restaurant that gives us a pre-taste of the fun, comfort and deliciousness fruit of that kingdom.

「大雨の音がするから」
列王記 第一 18章41～46節
"エリヤはアハブに言った。「上って行って、食べたり飲んだりしなさい。激しい大雨の音がするから。」
そこで、アハブは食べたり飲んだりするために上って行った。エリヤはカルメル山の頂上に登り、地にひざまずいて自分の顔を膝の間にうずめた。
彼は若い者に言った。「さあ、上って行って、海の方をよく見なさい。」若い者は上って、見たが、「何もありません」と言った。するとエリヤは「もう一度、上りなさい」と言って、それを七回繰り返した。
七回目に若い者は、「ご覧ください。人の手のひらほどの小さな濃い雲が海から上っています」と言った。エリヤは言った。「上って行って、アハブに言いなさい。『大雨に閉じ込められないうちに、車を整えて下って行きなさい。』」
しばらくすると、空は濃い雲と風で暗くなり、やがて激しい大雨となった。アハブは車に乗って、イズレエルへ行った。
主の手がエリヤの上に下ったので、彼は裾をたくし上げて、イズレエルの入り口までアハブの前を走って行った。"
(1)未だ見てないものを信じて〜「飲み食いしなさい」(41)
①飢饉の終焉を預言したことば
3年半の期間、降雨なく、国には作物が育たない。
イスラエルにとり毎年の降雨量は死活問題。
②大雨の音が聞こえるまでの信仰
神を求めるものは神の存在とまたその応答と信じていなくてはならない。
"信仰がなければ、神に喜ばれることはできません。神に近づく者は、神がおられることと、神がご自分を求める者には報いてくださる方であることを、信じなければならないのです。"
ヘブル人への手紙 11章6節
(2)その信仰に至ることが出来た理由
①主のことばを聞くことによる(18:1)＝観念論
真実の信仰は人の空想やまた人の与えるフィクションから始まらない。
聖書の言葉に耳を傾けることによる
②主の言葉を行うことによる(17:2-5、17:8-9)＝経験論
ヤコブ1:22-23
⑶信仰の祈りが事を成就させた秘密
①沈潜した祈り〜「自分の顔を膝の間にうずめた」
地上のユダヤ人の祈り姿勢とは異なる。
主イエスの教えに通じるものがある
「隠れたところにおられるあなたの父に祈りなさい「(山上の垂訓)
②執拗な祈り〜「7度繰り返しなさい」(18:43)
「何もありません」との失望する報告にも耐え続けた祈りであった。
(結論)
祈りは嘆願、願望、執り成しから始まる。
やがて長時間の格闘を経て神との同じ立場や見地に至る。
そこは永遠者との合一の世界であり、祈りの極地である。
主イエスの夜を徹した祈り。
