Thank you to all 29 member companies who sponsored the annual SEA Golf Tournament on July 20. Your support helped make the day fun for all 111 golfers at Redmond Ridge.

Jeff Svik of Berg's Landscaping addressed Seattle Execs for the first time as President of the Association at our July 13 meeting. He is truly excited to guide SEA for the next 6 months.

Jeff grew up in a small town in Nebraska with a population of 500. He attended the University of Nebraska where he earned a B.S. degree in horticulture.

Jeff Svik and his business partner John Silvernale purchased Berg's Landscaping in 2007. Berg’s Landscaping is a design/build landscape construction firm specializing in custom residential landscape design and installation. Their dedicated staff of six has an average of 14 years of service with the company.

Back in 1918, we were called the 100% Club.

Here are photos from the oldest one we have - "Classified and Corrected to February 1, 1918."

There are Classifications listed that are a bit outdated such "Biscuit and Cracker Manufacturing" and "Haberdasher". Most Classifications in the photos still are part of the Association today such as Hotel, Automobiles, Automobile Repair and Bank.

Seattle Execs has worked for almost 100 years!

At our February 3rd luncheon, we officially welcomed three new members to Seattle Execs by presenting them with their yellow badges.

Samantha Lawrence is the Owner of Chromatique Salon and represents the Salon/Spa classification.

Jan Wooten is the Rental Area Manager with Enterprise Holdings and our new contact for Auto Rental.

Rob Castro is the Business Sales Manager with Verizon Wireless and is our new contact for Wireless Communication.

At our January 20 meeting, we officially welcomed two new members to Seattle Execs by presenting them with a yellow badge.

Erik Nordstrom is an Investor & Manager with Ironridge Investments.

Debra Ricci is a Manger also with Inronridge Investments.

They are part of the Three Musketeers (including Erik Strom) who represent the Apartment Syndication/Apartment Management classification.

His mentor was Valerie Young of Warner Telecom Group and his sponsors were Larry Madigan and Kelly Madigan of Madigan Security Consulting and Investigations.

Rio is our contact for Real Estate: Residential - Snohomish County.

Kelly Cudworth of NuLeaf Office Solutions addressed Seattle Execs on January 6 for the first time as President of the Association.

Here are some excerpts from his speech -

"When looking out in the room of so many past presidents and longtime members, I see individuals who have given time and energy to create and maintain such a strong and traditional organization that has now given so much to me and created so many opportunities for me personally and professionally."

"I’m asking all the members to “Step back up” and give just 10% more. If you haven’t been on a committee, attended an open house, sat with different members, or reached out to one or two members you don’t already know in their your own network in the past 6-12 months, [then do it now,] just put in 10% more."

"The 10% can be just recording leads, connecting with one or two new members a month, sitting with unique and different members."

"If we can move the activity needle of this group by just 2-3 clicks and 10% more, the amount of opportunity we will create and maintain alongside a very healthy and active market can create so much opportunity for all of us."

Today was the last meeting which Mayumi Nakamura, President of PSPINC, run the meeting. She is the president of Seattle Executives Association since July 1 to the end of the year. Tomorrow, she will be hoisting the last board of director meeting at PSPINC in Bellevue.
