I own and operate Bloguru so my opinion is somewhat biased, but search "Bugs and Tugs" on Google and tell me what you see on the top?

What is "Tugs" anyway?

Cloud means you as a customer do not own the hardware that stores and processes your data. You are free from maintaining hardware, operating system, application software and related licenses. That saves you a lot of money but you will loose control too.

You need to decide what data and processes can be moved to cloud and what will not. Once you determine that, you will be able to save lots money by moving what you can to cloud.

Have you heard of video streaming service called http://www.ustream.tv ?
I thought this was a Japanese service because many Japanese people told me about it. But it is actually an American company. It is not as popular as YouTube but it may get some attention as http://www.ustream.tv can provide live feed.

I have done absolutely nothing meaningful today. I don't remember when was the last time I have done nothing. I did not work. I did not play ... I just slept and watched TV.

True Cost of Cloud Storage Service

Reading at this price list by Amazon, if I use 1TB of space and transfer 500GB of data to and from that cloud storage, I would pay.

Storage $140/per month
Data Transfer $50/per month
Requests ???

I will be paying about $200 per month / $2,400 per year. Is that cheap?
How do you transfer 500GB of data?
How many request were there?

I have been feeling cold.

I have been feeling cold last few days, so I got a space heater and set it next to the exit stairs. I just found out, the air from the stairs (no heat) makes my area of the room 10 degree cooler than the entry way to my room where my thermostat is. I have been working 62 degree temp.

I think I am catching cold.
