Radiation Exposure

Three Tokyo Electric workers were exposed to high level of radiation this morning. They were working in so called turbine room where normally has no radiation. Two of those workers were taken to hospital for possible beta-ray burn.

They are just taking too long. Longer they wait, higher the radiation will be. They need to act faster or they will never get close enough to fix. That means, they have to wait the core to burn out ... that will take months and years and turning easter Japan unlivable.

I went to Kojima Electric Mega Store in Nisinomiya today. We are over 400 miles away from Tokyo and has no problem here, but people bought out all emergency electric items and send them to Tokyo.

Just one section of the store is totally empty. Now people are buying all thye battled water here to be sent to Tokyo.

There are two high school baseball tournaments in Japan. Those are one of the most watched sports events in Japan. The spring high school baseball tournament started yesterday in Japan. There is a school from disaster area too.

Bottled water has disappeared from super markets, convenience stores.
I think the typical symptoms and hoarding. I will wait until you calm down here.

I do not know whether we are okay here or not, we are trying to be as normal as possible. But the eyes of the world more and more stringent toward Japan.

I just received this email from Tokyo. I do not know what we can do but to pray.
