On Sunday I watched F.C.Gifu`s first home game of the 2015 season. They played pretty badly but won 1-0.
The weather was cool, but I had a good time. I enjoyed sitting on the grass behind the goal drinking happily, while my kids ate junk food greedily or ran around crazily. I expected them to vomit (嘔吐く) but luckily they didn`t.
Grammar:
- `__y` 動詞 ----> `__ily` 副詞; happy --> happily, crazy --> crazily, lucky --> luckily
I was disappointed that UAE beat Japan in their AFC quarter-final match. I really wanted Japan to win. If Japan had won, they would have played Australia next.
I really wanted Australia (not UAE) to beat Japan!
