月食とスーパームーン

1ヵ月ほどぶりに高台からの夕日を眺めました。
私が直接眺めたのではありません。
息子の撮ったこれらの写真を通じてです。
足にギブスをはめているため
脚立を上ってその高台にまで行くことできないのです。
そこで今回は息子1人が高台に登り、
写真を撮りました。
私が今日出来た事は芝生の上に寝そべり、
その地面から空や木々を見上げたことです。
撮影角度を変えただけで
こんなにも見える風景が異なるのですね。
息子の世間を見る視野の狭さに
「子供だからな〜」と、どこか上から目線で見ていたのが
つい数ヶ月前のことのように思い出されます。
今や複眼的な見方が出来る様になって
いつの間にか私の見えない世界まで見通している。
来月18歳になると言う事は
そういうことなんでしょうか。
嬉しいような
頼もしいような....
複雑な心境です。
対戦する度に彼の将棋は上達し
今回は負けてしまいました。
この数時間後、シアトル時間の午前1時から4時位の間に
月がスーパームーンとなって赤く染まり
さらに月食となるのだそうです。
子供らはそのチャンスを逃すまいと目をギラギラさせています。
おそらくその頃の私の目はしょぼしょぼで、暖かい布団の中にいることでしょう。
半日前、エルサレムのオリーブ山に登ったスーパームーンの写真です。
私はこの写真で充分かなと。
For the first time in about a month, the sunset was observed.
I didn't see it directly.
It was through these photos taken by my son.
I have a cast on my leg.
I can't climb up the stepladder to get to the top of the stage.
So this time, my son alone climbed up to the platform and
he took some pictures.
What I was able to do today was to lie down on the grass and look at the sky and trees from the ground.
It's amazing how different the scenery looks when you change the angle.
My son used to such a narrow view of the world as a normal kid,
"He's just a kid.” I understood myself this way.
It seems like it was only a few months ago.
Now, he can see things from multiple perspectives.
He was seeing the world in a way I couldn't.
Is that what it means for him to turn 18 next month?
I feel blessed.
but I'm also relieved. ....
I have mixed feelings.
Every time I play against him, his Shougi chess improves.
This time, I lost.
A few hours later, between 1 and 4 a.m. Seattle time,
The moon will turn red as a superman and
There will also be a lunar eclipse.
The kids are all giddy to get a chance to see it.
I'll probably be in a warm bed with my eyes watering.
This is a picture of the supermoon that was taken half a day ago on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem.
I thought this picture would be enough for me.
