I arrived in Tokyo safely yesterday. The WestJet flight took a bit longer due to the nearly 5-hour layover at Calgary airport. However, the overall experience was excellent, considering the price I paid. The economy class flight from Seattle to Calgary, the lounge at Calgary, and the full-flat business class from Calgary to Narita were all great.
After landing, I took the train from Narita to Shinagawa, then a taxi to my hotel. I grabbed a light supper from Lawson and went to bed. I woke up at 5:00 AM to catch the sunrise over the Tokyo Rainbow Bridge. My work starts today.
