Ever ridden a motorcycle? I've been on two wheels since high school, through college, and still own a Vespa today. There's just something about riding motorcycles - the freedom. I remember the first time I hopped on one, marveling at how much smoother and easier the ride was compared to a bicycle. It felt like I could go anywhere. And so, from my first humble ride, I moved on to bigger bikes in search of more speed.

But let me tell you, I wasn't the smoothest rider compared to my friends. They'd zip around corners at lightning speed while I struggled to keep up. I wanted to be like them, so I practiced relentlessly. Yet, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't quite master it. Time flew by with graduation, jobs, and even starting my own business. And then, the urge to ride hit me once more. That's when I decided to get my motorcycle license and attended a training school in the States.

It was there, after years of riding, that I learned something I never knew. When taking a corner, you're supposed to look toward the exit point where you want to end up. Me? I was always fixated on what was directly in front of me. It’s not intuitive, but the bike naturally follows your gaze. Wish I'd known that ages ago!

This might sound like a motorcycle story, but it's got parallels in business and life. Wherever your end goal or whatever you want to achieve, keeping your eyes on the prize seems to make everything fall into place. Of course, it's equally important to not dwell on the places you don't want to end up.
