This is a small (13 x 18cm) acrylic painting I did in - let me see - 2005! Wow, time flies...

It`s a view of Casuarina trees by the sea at a place called Broadbeach, on the Gold Coast, which is near my hometown of Brisbane in Australia.

My mother made the frame for this painting. Nice job, mum!

Casuarina trees isn't in Japan, so the painting is very exotic. Your mother is good with her fingers.
Which season did you paint it? The painting is in Australia, isn't it? Because I think that your mother made the frame for it. She is really kind for you.

I don`t remember what season it was when I painted it, but not summer I think.

Now this painting is in Japan - I gave it to my parents-in-law as a gift.

Yes - my mum is very kind! I`m lucky.
