I created Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. in July 1987. That was 30 years ago. I started Web & Email Hosting service back in 1996. We were one of the first to start Web & Email, Domain hosting service.

Are we now one of the many hosting companies? From the surface it may appears to be same but there are some differences. Before we are hosting company, we are software development company. That means, the software that we use to provide Web & Email Hosting Services are using the software that we developed. From the email server and SPAM filters to the Website Development tools to Shopping cart, we have developed from the scratch.

That is the reason why we can maintain better revenue model. I do not build company to be the same as others. We are real and always different.

When you sell your products to over seas, you need to make you product to adopt to their culture. One bad example of that is American Auto in Japan. In Japan, people drive on the left side of the street. So the car naturally have steering wheel on the right hand side of the car. Well, until recently American cars never change the left hand steering wheel to the right ... Although those American cars are sold in the UK and Australia with right hand steering wheels.

It is called localization. In addition to the translation of the documentation, you really need to understand the culture and make your products adopt to that.

The result of the genitive campaign is not usually great. Look at Hillary Clinton's campaign during 2016 election. Here is the another example of Negative campaign. Well, it works both ways. I do not like to purchase any products that is promoted using scare tactics or saying anything negative about their competitors. I also I will not buy anything from the company that counterattack. Just acknowledge the attacking campaign and ignore it or take legal actions.
