This movie was a hit when I was sent by Japanese company to open a office in Seattle, Washington. I was 27 then. I did not know within one year from the release of this movie, I would start Pacific Software Publishing, Inc.
When I started Pacific Software Publishing, Inc., Japanese style management would never work in the US, and Japanese people told me American style management would never work in the company dealing with Japan.
I never manage Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. either Japanese way nor American way. It was my way.

I just received email from Apple telling me that my iPad is delayed for for days. To make sure, they are offering the loaner iPad to be delivered on the original day. Just read the email ... they are really concerned about what people think of them.
Our diesel generators are topped off with 40 gallons of diesel fuel each. Each generator has 120 gallon tank, so we used about 1/3 since the last refueling ... I don't even remember when it was.
There are two Walmart stores opening in Bellevue, Washington. One of them is at Factoria Mall where MERVINS used to be. We never had Walmart in Bellevue before and the nearest one is at Renton about 15~20 miles away. Both sites are too small to be Walmart Super Stores, but you will never know. It will be interesting.
