We have replace the 30 year old wood door and frame with the latest steel door and frames. This will farther reduce heart and cooling requirements of the building.

It is done today for R&D building and new doors will be installed on HQ tomorrow.

Imagine in the super market, you find a fresh produce with the funny looking bar code like the one you see on the right.



You use your cellular phone's camera to scan it. It takes you to a web site that tells you who, when, how the produce was grown and delivered to the supermarket.



Imagine again, you walk up to a restaurant, you see a bar code at the entrance. You scan it and it takes to the web site where it ask for your email. You enter the email then the system will send you a 20% off coupon to your cellular phone.



The bar code you see here is called QR Code. It is very big in Europe and Asia. And it is coming to the US. By scanning the QR Code on this screen, it takes you to http://www.pspinc.com/qr. Clock on the link to learn more about QR Code and PSPINC programming capabilities.

UNIQLO is one of the most successful clothing store/brand in Japan. It is sort of like GAP in Japan. Their most successful product is called HEATTECH ... which heats up when you wear the. Now you can buy tose in the US from their new web site http://www.uniqlo.com/us/.

I just purchase few of the items from this site. I will let you know what I feel about them when I get them.

In order to accommodate the new data center and all the servers in it, the building is being upgraded with new electric infrastructure. The picture here shows the VECA Electric in action.

VECA is in the Seattle Executives Association like we are and they are the best electric contractor in the pacific northwest.
