Happy but not happy😅

I was at Family Pancake House in Redmond yesterday. They serve very large portions of everything, and the prices are reasonable (well, not compared to Japan, of course).

When I went to pay my bill, the cashier asked me, “Do you want a discount?”

I replied, “Sure… but what kind of discount?”

She said, “Senior discount.”

I was happy to receive the discount, but I wasn’t quite sure how to feel about the type of discount.
I guess I am a senior now.
