Many people seem to have the wrong idea about advertising on the internet. Ad agencies tend to say that advertising online is all about getting more people to visit your site. I’m not saying that it’s not important to attract customers, because it is. But it shouldn’t be your sole focus to just get customers’ attention because you might not end up doing business with them.

For example, if you want to capture audiences’ attention and increase awareness of your product, you’ll want to do more than just post an announcement and release a press release. If your goal is to get your name out there, you may consider featuring attractive influencers. For example, GoDaddy cast IndyCar Series driver, Danica Patrick, in some of their old commercials. However, GoDaddy doesn’t just advertise on TV, they also make it easier for customers to buy domain names.

The key thing to remember here is that you should try to draw as many people to your business as you can. But in addition to that, you also need to make it easy for people to buy your products. Businesses need both to succeed. The first step is you’ll need to attract people towards your product. After that, you should make it easy as possible for potential customers to buy it. Marketing efforts that don’t consider both steps will just result in a waste of money. For those of you who are thinking about advertising your business online, the website needs to make it easy for customers to purchase. That way, potential customers won't just be interested in your offering, they'll actively consider purchasing it.
