先日のロサンゼルス出張で、南カリフォルニア日本人商工会でスピーチをする機会をいただきました。このような公の場で話す機会はあまりないため、緊張しましたが、皆様に必要な情報を伝えられたか心配です。

当日は朝4時に起きて空港に向かい、2時間半のフライトでロサンゼルスに到着し、レンタカーでホテルに向かいました。そしてサンディエゴのスタッフと合流して会場に向かいました。スピーチが始まる前は少し眠かったのですが、話し始めると緊張で目が冷めました。スピーチの後、多くの方と名刺交換させていただき、良い機会を得ることができました。お呼びいただき、ありがとうございます。

夜遅くにホテルに戻り、長い一日が終わりました。帰りは夕方の便でシアトルに戻るという弾丸出張でした。少し疲れましたね（笑）。もう若くはないのかな〜〜〜。

During my recent business trip to Los Angeles, I had the opportunity to speak at the Southern California Japanese Chamber of Commerce. Speaking in public like this is not something I often do, so I was quite nervous about it. I hope I was able to convey the necessary information to everyone.

On the day of the speech, I woke up at 4am and headed to the airport. After a 2.5 hour flight, I arrived in Los Angeles and drove to the hotel, where I met up with the staff from San Diego before heading to the venue. I was a little sleepy before the speech began, but as soon as I started talking, my nerves kicked in and I was wide awake. After the speech, I had the opportunity to exchange business cards with many people, and it was a great chance to make connections. Thank you for inviting me.

After a long day, I returned to the hotel late at night. It was a whirlwind trip, as I had to fly back to Seattle on the same day. I was a bit tired (laughs). I guess I'm not as young as I used to be.
