Everything You Need to Make Your Dream Website a Reality!

Exploring Goals

First, you need to understand what you want from your website. Is it just a simple “About Us” page? Or do you want your web visitors to do something like subscribe to your newsletter or buy something online?
By knowing what you want to accomplish with your website, you can design what you want first. If there’s a site you like, you should tell your web builders what they are so they can lean into your interest and taste.

Deciding

After talking to web building professionals and listening to their ideas, you can decide on what you want. There’s no reason why you need to build the website based on the designers’ input. After all, it’s your website, so you should choose what you want for your website.

Building

There should be a milestone when building your website. As web builders work on your site, you should review and tell them what you think about their overall progress. But remember, if you change your mind, it will cost more. So, it’s important to design carefully.

Going Online

After finishing the site, you should go online as soon as possible so you can review people’s reactions to it. There’s no such thing as a complete website as you can always improve it. Therefore, you should treat your website as something you can improve over time.

Budget

Try not to put all your eggs in one basket when it comes to your budget. In other words, try to stretch every dollar you can update and maintain your website continually. To encourage people to visit again, update your site every few months (preferably on a monthly or quarterly basis).

Promotion

Nowadays, social media is the best way to promote your website. With Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram, you can broadcast your website and message to other users. If you’re serious about free promotion, post on social media as often as possible (even daily). If you don’t mind hiring someone to promote your site, you should hire a salesperson. Or you can outsource a dedicated individual to promote your business and website.

As a wake of my cancer free report, I just booked a short San Diego business trip to visit PSPINC San Diego office. This is my first business trip anywhere since I had my surgery. Now things are moving forward. I just hope Japan will open its door soon.

I went through contrast CT Scan at Virginia Mason yesterday morning. The result came back with "No Evidence of Spread or Recurrence" ... Good news. I would like to keep it that way for a long tome. Next scan is 6 months.

Doing Things My Way

Many of you know I love golfing. I’ve been playing golf for many years, but no one’s ever told me I’m good at golf. I don’t know how to play golf based on a theory, so my swing isn’t smooth. Once, I took a lesson because I didn’t think I was swinging wrong. The swing I learned worked well at the driving range. But when I played a round of golf, I had a hard time. As a result, I ended up with a completely unusable swing for an actual game. With what I learned at the time, my handicap dropped from 11 to 18 in one year.

In golf lessons, they teach you how to swing like a pro. But an amateur like me doesn’t have the body, nor the proper training, to overcome it. Instead, I want to play golf for fun, not to train or improve my score. Of course, a good score helps, but in my mind, golf isn’t a subject of hard work and effort.

There is more than one golf swing. So, I try to play golf in my own way and aim to play golf that isn’t too strenuous these days. Still, what I learned from that one golf lesson made my score worse. Management is the same, and I don’t think anyone can imitate my management style. It isn’t something that can be taught to anyone.

It’s not like I don’t listen to anyone. I don't want to imitate everything I learn, but I try to incorporate what I find beneficial, both in my work and my golf game. As I’ve said before, I don’t read books on management. I don’t even try to read books. It’s the same as when I took golf lessons. If I learn something strange, it may have a negative influence on me later on.

Contrast CT Scan at Virginal Mason Tomorrow

I will go thru contract CT scan tomorrow for 6 months checkup for my liver cancer. I hope they will find no trace of cancer. After the scan I will go to dialysis to clear the contrast. It is going to be a busy day tomorrow.
