One of the best ways to improve security is to install a video camera. We just did this in our new data center area at our HQ. This system captures and records movements to a server.

As a operator of multiple data centers, we consume more electric power than most other companies. We are really concerned about that. So to reduce the CO2 emissions and be green, we are

(1) Using "Green Power" from Puget Sound Energy
(2) Reduce electric consumption by using the natural air to cool our servers
(3) Retire old servers in 3 to 5 year period.

It is not alway easy, but we are try our part. Also, we host 35,000 companies email servers using little over 400 servers. That is 98% reductions in server foot print.
