Whoop vs. Apple Watch – Is the Price Worth It?
Whoop is a subscription-based health monitoring service that uses a wristband device to track your fitness, recovery, and sleep. While the concept is certainly appealing, the cost—ranging from $199 to $349 per year—makes it a tough sell for many consumers.
It’s an interesting product, but the price feels too high, especially when you consider that you can buy an Apple Watch outright with no ongoing subscription. And with time, Apple Watches will likely become even more affordable.
I’m not sure who their target audience is—but one thing I know for sure: it’s not me.
