I was in the hospital for 4 days.

On April 30, I took my wife to Virginia Mason for hip replacement surgery. After the procedure, I went to her room and planned to stay overnight until she was discharged the next day.

However, in the middle of the night, I suddenly became very ill and ended up vomiting. Given my history of a kidney transplant, the nurses took me to the ER, where they decided to check for pneumonia. I was admitted to the hospital and remained there until this afternoon—spending a total of four days in the hospital.

This is why I haven't been able to post anything recently. Please don’t worry—I believe I’m okay, but I’ll continue following up with the hospital.

My wife was discharged yesterday and stayed with our daughter. I returned home this afternoon and joined her, so we’re now both back at home.
