Today's meals included McDonald's for breakfast, cereal for lunch, and in the evening, I had cabbage salad, miso-marinated mackerel, rice, and warmed fried tofu.
It has now been exactly six weeks since my surgery, and the pain has almost completely subsided, allowing me to eat normally again. While frequent trips to the restroom are still a bit challenging, I can now sleep for more than two hours straight, which has made things much easier.
Although I was supposed to stay home and rest for six weeks, I ended up going to the office twice this week—with my doctor's approval, of course. Next week, I hope to go in a bit more often. That said, my presence doesn’t really change anything, so I sometimes wonder if I’m just getting in the way.
