PSPINC was mentioned in April Issue of Master Builder Magazine for its participation in Puget Sound Energys Green Energy Program. We did not about this Green Energy program until one of the engineers told us about it. It was no brainer that we decided to participate.

As a operator of data center with hundreds of servers, we use a lot more energy than most companies of our size. So, it is only fair to participate in this program to give something back to the society and environment.

I had to go to the bank after the lunch. One of my banks is Bank of America and their branch in downtown Bellevue is this building. The building is called PACCAR Building. I know the name for along time but I never thought this is the world HQ for PACCAR, Inc.

When you think of Seattle, you think of Boeing, Microsoft, Nordstrom but you never think about PACCAR. I knew PACCAR started here, but I never thought their HQ is still here in Bellevue. WOW.

This is another company that I would love to work with.

I found Steve Jobs figure for $28 + Shipping. I am a Macintosh user and I supposed buy anything that has something to do with Apple.

I has problem with the drain in my house. When it rains, it goes down the gutter but the drain in the ground was clogged. I try to fix it by digging around the drain, but it was too deep and I do not have tools needed to fix.

I called Fox Plumbing (http://www.foxph.com/) because Fox is a member of Seattle Executives Association. They came over next day and fixed it right there. It cost little over $600 but I dont have to worry about water any more.

PS: I kind of think they need little better web site but they do a good job.

PPS: I forgot to use my coupon that I got from them.

Every first Tuesday of the month, PSP will provide PC tune-up service for no labor charge. For instance, if you wish to reinstall your operating system on your PC, we usually charge $150 in labor, but on this day 100% of labor is free. If you bring in your own hard disk drive, we will swap out the old one and place the new one and install an operating system for free. We can increase your memory (you must provide the memory chips), clean up your hard disk drive, check for virus and spyware at no charge.

We limit one computer per household. You must bring your computer to PSP in Bellevue, Washington. And one more thing, you must RSVP. We can only do this for first 10 people, so please reserve early. Please call 425-957-0808 for reservation or question. Ask for FREE PC TUNE-UP

Do you know this man?

He is one of the most successful business people that I personally know. He is Mr. Junki Yoshida. We went to meet Yoshida-san, chairman of Yoshida Group, in Oregon. He owns and operates 18 companies including Yoshida Foods, Oregon International Airfreight. He is an extremely busy person, but he always spend entire afternoon. He sits on the board of directors of my company.

He will be involved more with the company that I am creating too. He is coming to Seattle to speak at Seattle Executives Association where I am a second VP. I will get to introduce him tomorrow.

The Great Wolf Lodge

We went on a day trip to Portland Oregon. It is about 180 miles (290km) one way. It usually takes little less than three hours on Interstate 5. About a half way there, there is a place called Tenino and we saw great building being built for last several trips. The place is called The Great Wolf Lodge.

We decided to visit and have breakfast there. It was an amusement park with huge indoor swimming pools and rides. There are a lot of customers. It was a lot more than we were expecting. We had buffet style breakfast ($13 each). We all thought it was an Indian Tribal Casino, but no casino there. We were really surprised by the amount of businesses they are generating being in middle of Seattle and Portland.

No recession there! It is a good sight to see.

I received an interesting direct mail from one of the premier online golf store. It says, IF SERGIO WINS IN AUGUSTA, YOUR TAYLOR MADE DRIVER IS FREE.

Is it only me, it sounds like they are so confident that Sergio cannot win, Taylor Made is willing bet on it. I personally use Taylor Made Irons and like them very much. I am thinking about getting r9 Driver, but after seeing this I dont know if I want to buy this.
