「キリストの言葉を受け取ること」。
それはすなわち
「キリストにとどまること」
「キリストと1つとされること」
と等しい。
すると
「キリストが私たちのうちにとどまり」
「キリストが私たちと一つとなる」。
それは
人間側の先駆的・主導行為ではなく
あくまで絶対者の招きと接近とを受容する姿勢。

"あなたがたがわたしにとどまり、わたしのことばがあなたがたにとどまっているなら、
何でも欲しいものを求めなさい。そうすれば、それはかなえられます。"
ヨハネの福音書 15章7節

今夕日没後の空に現れた夕焼け。
これをデザインし、色付けをしたのは絶対者なるお方。
そこに私たちは一筆たりとも加筆していなかった。
"Christian faith" means...
"to receive the word of Christ."
It means.
"Abiding in Christ."
"to be united with Christ."
It is the same as
"Christ abides in us.
"Christ becomes one with us."
It is not a pioneering or leading act on the part of man,
but an attitude of acceptance of the invitation and approach of the Absolute One.

The Scarlet color appeared in the sky after sunset this evening.
It was the Absolute One who designed and colored it.
We did not add even a single stroke to it.
