緊急治療室訪問から一夜明けて
手術担当医のところまで行ってきました。
担当医もさらに触診や問診の末、
レントゲンを撮るまでもなく、
アキレス腱断裂であると診断。
さあ今後、どのようにして切れたアキレス腱をつなげるか？
担当医曰く
手術した方が回復のペースが速く
運動能力も以前と僅差のところまで回復する期待値が高いとか。
それぞれの治療費がどれぐらいとなるのか。
現段階では算出できないとのことで
決断は来週に伸ばされました。
そこではテｨントと呼ばれる
足首固定装具を付けてもらいました。
昨日はスキーブーツのような
大きめのブーツで固定されたのですが
これだとその自重で重く、痛くて耐えられません。
その新しい固定具は睡眠の時も含めて
常時付けていることができ
とても助かっています。
皆様方からの温かい励ましとお祈りを心より感謝します。

それで元気と勇気も百倍です。
しばらく息子とサッカーの戦いが
できないのが残念でなりません。
それでも今日、彼と
将棋の格闘をしました。
私の角落ちと彼への角の持ち駒で勝負。
途中私のうっかりミスで、
気づかずに
飛車をとられてしまうハプニング。
無情な彼は、
「待った」を受け入れてくれずに
飛車駒を持って喜びのポーズ。
「飛車・角全部持ったからって
喜ぶのはまだ早いってばヨー」
「これから俺の大進撃を見せてやるってばヨー」
(その後彼と一緒に見たNARUTOの言い草を真似て
いってやりました)
NARUTOは、音声を日本語で英語をサブタイトルにして
全てのエピソードを見ることができます。
その私の大言壮語も無駄にすることなく
勝利を手中に収めたのです。

After a night of emergency room visits.

Yesterday, I was immobilized in a large boot, like a ski boot.
It was too heavy and painful for me to bear.
The new fixation device can be worn all the time, including when sleeping.
It has been a great help.

That gives me a hundred times more energy and courage.
However, I'm sorry that I won't be able to play soccer with my son for a while.
Still, Today, I had a Shogi match with him.
We started to let him hold my Kaku piece as his own.
In the middle of the game, I made an inadvertent mistake and he took my Hisha piece.
He was heartless.
He didn't accept my redo petition.
He posed joyfully with my Hisya piece.
"Just because you have all the Hisya and the Kaku doesn't mean You can be happy.”
“I'm going to show you my big move.”
(I mimicked a phrase from Naruto that I saw with him afterwards.)
My big words were not in vain.
I had won.
"Kai, you're still ten years too young to beat me at Shogi”
