I went trekking today. This year, due to the scorching heat, there are plenty of healthy acorns, just like in the picture. When I saw these acorns, it reminded me of the Japanese fairy tale by Kenji Miyazawa, "The Acorns and the Wildcat." In this story, round acorns and pointed acorns compete for superiority. I brought back two round acorns, but unfortunately, they did not transform into golden acorns.
The morning glow is incredible, with the entire sky painted in shades of crimson, not just in the east. I have plans for trekking today and morning work in the farm, but I'm worried about the weather.
This year, the persimmons are ripening early, and it's too hot to make dried persimmons, which is affecting their sales.
