Room temperature in Japan

The office temperature is set to around 28C (81F) in Japan. I do not think it has anything to do with conserving energy. People here, specially female workers, complain about the room temperature being too low.

I don't think it is productive to have the room temperature this high. At least last few years, people are not expected to wear ties.

My Japan trip all end in two days. It is kind of sad to leave Japan.
We went to Kappa Sushi ... I did not like it. But unlike Seatle, all dishes are 100 yen. Cheap.

Moving from Tokyo to Ashiya

I just arrived at my home in Ashiya using Japan Rail. Firsr I took Shinkansen from Tokyo to Shin-Osaka, then I tool local trail from Shin Osaka to Ashiya. Very easy connection.

It was very interesting when they apologize for the train being laster for 3 minutes.

Old Friend

I été dinner ith my old friend in Shijyuku, last night. He has been having problems with his leg for a long time, but he finally found a doctor who diagnosed his symptom as a restless leg syndrome and gave him a prescription. That was three month ago.

He told me on the day he got this prescription, he was able to sleep all night first time in years. He looked very happy. Now he is complaining about Japanese politics, TEPCO ...

I founded there are more Japanese people posting Blog, Facebook, Twitter and Linked In than English speaking people. Not that I have more Japanese friends, but more posts are coming from Japanese speaking people.
