I'd be happy to expand on why Tesla is doing certain things better than the traditional car dealer network:

Manufacture direct sales... No dealer markup: Unlike traditional car dealerships, Tesla sells its cars directly to customers. This means that customers can purchase a Tesla vehicle online or at a Tesla retail store, and there is no middleman involved. By cutting out the dealer markup, Tesla is able to offer competitive prices to its customers, which is one of the reasons why Tesla vehicles are often seen as a good value for the money.

Most advanced auto-pilot features: Tesla has been a leader in developing advanced driver assistance systems, with their Autopilot feature being one of the most advanced in the market. This feature uses a combination of cameras, sensors, and radar to enable semi-autonomous driving. This means that Tesla drivers can take their hands off the wheel in certain situations, such as on highways, and let the car do the driving.
