Recovery Update After Kidney Transplant

Since receiving my kidney transplant on February 1, I have not needed dialysis at all.
This has been a truly joyful milestone and a major step forward in starting a new chapter of my life.

However, recently the transplant, there was some concern as my creatinine levels began to rise.
Based on my doctor’s evaluation, it appeared that the blood vessels connected to the new kidney might be narrowing.
To address this, I underwent a procedure last Monday to place a stent in the artery.

Fortunately, the procedure seems to have worked—my blood pressure and other vital signs have stabilized, and my test results are showing improvement.
It feels like my body is gradually adjusting to the new kidney.

I am deeply grateful to the medical staff who have supported me through this journey, and to everyone who kept me in their thoughts.
Moving forward, I plan to prioritize my health and take each day one step at a time with a positive outlook.
