season, it can drop to below 5 meters, but the area is filled with mud runoff, resulting
in poor visibility and a lot of sediment on the lakebed, making the search operation
extremely difficult.

事故地点は写真んおザビエル天主堂正面あたりと思われます。
ここは水深が現在15ｍくらいで、冬季の渇水時には5ｍ以下になりますが、泥が流れ込んで
おり透明度が悪く、水底に沈殿物が多いので捜索は大変だと思われます。
名称が入鹿池となっているので、小さな面積を想像する方が多いのですが、湖と呼んでも
良い大きさです。
