New Testing Center is Getting Ready

We are expanding our facility for new testing center. The space is almost ready except new carpet, security system and new blinds. The space will be ready by the end of next week.

I did not know FEDERAL RESERVE BANKS are not a part of the US Federal Government. That mans they are not owned by the people of the US.

According to WiKi ...
The Reserve Banks are not federal instrumentalities for purposes of the FTCA [the Federal Tort Claims Act], but are independent, privately owned and locally controlled corporations.

So, who owns it?

In Charge of Data Center / 3rd Day

I was asked to rebuild data center operations three days ago. I have not done much yet but I already notice there is a communication problem among the people at data center. They often do not understand what they are doing except they are asked do somethings.

I am not very happy with the operations there. Nobody is accountable for anything. I need to fix that.

Here is one example, this images show the pile of old data cables which we have replaced. They are just piled up in the office. Nobody is questioning where those cables should go. I need to teach people to clean and organize and communicate.

I was not sure whether I should post this picture or not. But I am sure I can make this team operate better, so I needed to post BEFORE pictures.

Swiss LOYAL QUEEN Gold Watch

This watch was show to me as non-brand watch. I took pictures and did some study.

This watch was made by SWISS LOYAL company in 1050's and exported to Heiwado in Japan for sale in Japan. This is QUEEN series watch and reportedly there were no more than 100 made.

Unlike other QUEEN watch which were made with 14K Gold, this one was made on 18K Gold. Also the movement on this was 19 Jewels not more more 17 Jewels, making this watch a high end watch.

I send what I learned about this watch to the owner.
