I swapped out the snow tires today and put on the original tires back on my car. No more snow until later this year. The picture was taken at local Firestone / Bridgestone Store. I got an wheel alignment at the same time.
If you like cars, you have heard of Griot's Garage. Well, I went to their flagship store in Tacoma on Saturday to purchase some of the things I wanted for my 1959 Mercedes Benz. I was really impressed with their operations and their display. I am looking forward to working on my car with their stuff.

The green car on the right is called Daihatsu NAKED. Interesting naming.
I went to Bellevue Square to Checkout the Microsoft Store for the first time. It was not much to look at, as I suspected.
But before I got there, this was the only parking sport I found near the entrance. This red car was parked completely over the line. I see this with many expensive cars like Porsches and Ferraris. But for this car ... it is just lame.
I finally took the car home. It was fun driving ... people are waiving and smiling. What a feeling. I will drive for a while before I start fixing the cosmetic things. Park Place Service did a great job making this car safe.
TPMS = Tire Pressure Monitoring System
I did not know you can purchase and install after market TPMS. I saw this at COSTCO Tire Center. It is a great idea to have proper tire pressures. If your car dos not have TPMS, you might want to get it. Fortunately all my cars, except 1959 Mercedes, have TPMS.
I stopped at the red light today and saw the odometer showing 050505. I took a picture. I totally missed 50000 mile mark. I feel lucky today.
I tool this picture while I was stopping at the red light. I was not break a law.
I received my car license renewal notice yesterday in the mail. It is going to expire in 3 weeks. I thought they used to give me at least two months notice.
I went to check the emission and passed. Then I went to License place in Crossroad near my office to pay the License fee. It had $5 for Park Improvement (Option) and $4 for processing fee. I do understand $4 processing fee. Why do I have to pay that? Shouldn't that part of the Licensing fee? Where can I go so that I don't have to pay this fee?
I guess I am being picky.
What are those two boxes on top of REDMOND POLICE car?
Lights?
Camera?
Rader?
What are they?
Sorry, the picture is not too clear. I took it with my BlackBerry.
I know someone who really like this car. He races his Porsche and he is a member of Seattle Executives Association. And he is blogging on Bloguru.
