6 Weeks has passed.

I had my kidney transplant on February 1, and yesterday marked six weeks since the surgery. The first six weeks are the most critical period for a transplant, and I’m incredibly grateful that my new kidney has made it through successfully.

Right now, I only need to go to the hospital once a week, which is a big improvement compared to the three times a week I had to go during the first few weeks.

On top of that, since the surgery, I haven’t needed dialysis at all, which is amazing.
