地中海食レストラン

今日のサンマテオ地区は1日中雨でした。
室内営業をしているレストランを見つけるのが一苦労なのですが、ダウンタウンの4番街にある地中海食レストランをランチに運良く発見。

ベイエリアで体験した地中海食レストランにはハズレがありません。

今回もサクサクのエビと程良い味付けのサラダ、そしてライスも香ばしい甘みが乗っていてVery Good。

残念な日本食レストランがある中で、地中海食にはハズレがない。

その理由として、その地中海沿岸域からの移民がシェフをしてくれているからなのか、それともベイエリアの気候が地中海性気候だからなのか？

It was raining all day in the San Mateo area today.
It was hard to find a restaurant that was open indoors, but I lucked out and found a Mediterranean restaurant on 4th Street downtown for my lunch.

I've never had a bad experience at a Mediterranean restaurant in the Bay Area.

The crispy shrimp, well-seasoned salad, and rice were all very good with a savory-sweet flavor.

While there are some disappointing Japanese restaurants, there is nothing wrong with Mediterranean food here.

Is it because the chefs are immigrants from the Mediterranean region, or is it because the Bay Area has a Mediterranean climate?
