世界中を旅行してのエキゾチックな体験記に魅せられるからです。
本日初めて彼がパレスチナ出身のアラブ人であると知りました。
11年前の体験を綴ったこのビデオを見ながら涙が出るのを禁じ得ませんでした。
「Opportunity(機会)が与えられた」
彼はパレスチナの小さな村で週に1時間英語を教えてくれる教師との出会いから語ります。
やがてその教師に勧められてオハイオに1ヵ月間ホームステイすることになり、そこでのアメリカ人夫妻との出会い。
そのホストファミリーがハーバード大学へ入学するよう励ましてくれたこと。
ハーバード大学が全額サポートの奨学金で彼を受け入れてくれたこと。
卒業後は高収入の企業に勤めた後独立し、ビデオ配信の会社を立ち上げていること。
これらすべて彼に与えられたopportunityです。
そして神は、私にも皆さまにもそのopportunity を異なる形ではありますが与え続けてくださっています。

I've already watched more than 10 videos made by this guy.
This is because I am fascinated by his exotic experiences of traveling around the world.
Today, for the first time, I learned that he is an Arab from Palestine.
I couldn't help but tearing as I watched this video of his experience a decade ago.
Opportunity.
He recounts how he met a teacher in a small Palestinian village who taught him English for one hour a week.
Eventually, the teacher encouraged him to stay with a family in Ohio for a month, where he met an American couple.
The host family encouraged him to enroll in Harvard University, and Harvard University accepted him with a fully supported scholarship.
After graduating, he worked for a high-income company and then after he started his own business, a video distribution company.
All of this is an opportunity given to him.
And God continues to give that opportunity to me and to you in different ways.
"Be joyful always.
Pray constantly.
Be thankful in all things.
This is what God wants you to do in Christ Jesus."
