3ヶ月ぶりのレストラン

3ヶ月ぶりにレストランに入りました。
シアトルダウンタウンで寿司屋に入りたかったんですが、どこの日本料理店もテイクアウトか予約しか受け付けてくれていないんです。仕方なく自宅へ向かったのですが、その途中、米系チェーンレストランが開いているのを知って立ち寄りました。
テーブル1つおきに空席を作らなくてはならない工夫を見せていますが、予約なしで入店を認めてくれたことに感謝します。店内は1割か2割ほどの顧客入店率ですが、見回していると通常の21世紀世界に戻ってきたかのような不思議な感覚でした。
3ヶ月の期間、異常であったことが普通の感覚となり、それにならされてしまったようです。
今日の夕日は薄ボンヤリとしたシルエットを通して見えました。当初、下部にある厚い雲に隠れている夕日が上部の薄い雲に反射してるのかと思ったのですが、そうではなく薄い雲の向こう側に隠れているようです。
これも今までにはない珍しい光景でした。
I haven't been in a restaurant in three months.
I wanted to go into a sushi restaurant in downtown Seattle, but all the Japanese restaurants were either take-out or they only accept reservations. I had no choice but to head home, but on the way there, I found out that an American chain restaurant was open. I stopped by.
The restaurant is ingenious in that they have to make an empty seat at every other table, but they allow people to come in without a reservation. Thank you for your help. The store has about 10% or 20% customer occupancy, but when I looked around, I’m back in the normal 21st century world. It was a strange feeling.
It seems that for a period of three months as staying home, what was abnormal became normal.
Today's sunset was visible through a light bonny silhouette. At first I thought it was the sunset hiding behind the thick clouds at the bottom reflecting off the thin clouds on the top. Instead, it seems to be hiding behind a thin cloud.
This was another rare sight that I've never seen before.
