My company, Pacific Software Publishing, Inc., develops and sells software-based services. Among the services we offer are web and email hosting services. To provide these services, we have several associated applications. For example, suppose a customer needs a program that we do not provide within our hosting services. If they request the development of such an application, a software development company would estimate the required resources for its development and charge a fee for their work. However, in the case of PSPINC, the purpose of the development is to sell our services to a wider audience, and software development is merely a means to that end.
Therefore, we may develop the required application ourselves and integrate it into our services, rather than requiring the customer to fully bear the development costs. This allows the customer to obtain the necessary application without having to pay the full cost. In addition, by publicly releasing the developed applications, we can improve our services for all customers. For us, development is not the purpose but merely a means to expand future sales. If we lose sight of this and make development costs the purpose, we will lose our focus on the original goal. Our unique characteristic is to never forget the original purpose.

Manufacture direct sales... No dealer markup: Unlike traditional car dealerships, Tesla sells its cars directly to customers. This means that customers can purchase a Tesla vehicle online or at a Tesla retail store, and there is no middleman involved. By cutting out the dealer markup, Tesla is able to offer competitive prices to its customers, which is one of the reasons why Tesla vehicles are often seen as a good value for the money.
Most advanced auto-pilot features: Tesla has been a leader in developing advanced driver assistance systems, with their Autopilot feature being one of the most advanced in the market. This feature uses a combination of cameras, sensors, and radar to enable semi-autonomous driving. The service is called iSecureMessages and is designed to solve common problems that occur with communication via email between clients and businesses, such as (1) leakage of personal information, (2) messages not being delivered, and (3) not knowing if messages have been read. This service is not a new concept and is already being used by large organizations such as medical institutions, law firms, and accounting firms. It is intended to be an alternative to email.
Clients will be issued a username and password to log in to their own service using iSecureMessages, and messaging will take place through this portal. The content of the messages will be stored on the iSecureMessages side and can be accessed at any time. By using a portal instead of email, we can solve the aforementioned problems.

I had the opportunity to work with the Seattle Executive Association and explain how Dean and Billy of NAI Puget Sound Properties (https://nap-psp.com) helped PSPINC lease extra office space in Bellevue, WA. Initially, all I did was ask them to lease some space in our building, but they went above and beyond to accomplish this.
Firstly, they surveyed the market and determined the appropriate lease rate and terms for the available space. They then produced a marketing brochure that highlighted the property and the available space. They marketed the space through online subscription services such as CBA, CoStar, and Loopnet, as well as directly to the Puget Sound brokerage community. They also conducted tours for prospective tenants, vetted and qualified potential tenants, and coordinated all the necessary documentation from lease proposals to fully executed lease agreements.
I did not witness all the work that they did behind the scenes, but they were exceptionally good at what they did. If you are a property owner looking to lease out some space, I highly recommend contacting them.

"Necessity is the Mother of Invention."
As the saying goes, "Necessity is the mother of invention," providing solutions to troubling, time-consuming, or wasteful problems is critical to providing products and services. Time wasted means expenses. Therefore, if the solution’s cheaper than the expense, accepting it shouldn’t be a problem.
Generally, Digital Transformation (DX) aims to automate previously time-consuming work with the help of computers to progress work faster and more accurately. DX is not a new concept, as it was called Office Automation (OA) in the 1970s. It became more accessible with the introduction of PCs in the 1980s. Before that, people wrote documents by hand or by typing on a typewriter. Also, they used calculators rather than spreadsheets software to make calculations. These prior processes were inefficient, time-consuming, and costly. However, word processors and spreadsheet software efficiently solved these problems.
Current DX tries to reduce time and expenses by automating cumbersome processes and repetitive office work. In our current work, we include database development. Databases digitize customer data and information that we previously stored on paper, allowing them to be retrieved and processed instantly when needed.
Although it is said that "necessity is the mother of invention," the fact is that in many cases, customers aren’t aware of the problem in their current situation. It may be a good idea to review daily work and see if there are any repetitive and time-consuming office work and tasks.

“Cannot” Versus “Will Not”

In this case, the statement, “I cannot do it”, is an attempt to hide the fact that their abilities or skills are lacking. In reality, we often see this as unmotivated behavior.
In society, we’re often required to tackle difficult challenges. When you think you can’t do something, instead, you should think about how to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills, rather than giving up and saying you can’t do it. Also, if that’s too difficult for you, others can still recognize your efforts. The important thing is to put in as much effort as you can to achieve the goals you set for yourself.

Good Communicators and Good Listeners
Good communicators and good listeners each play an important role in communication.
Someone who’s good at talking can clearly communicate what he or she wants to say to the other person. By using appropriate language, they can gain empathy and understanding from others. They can also enliven the conversation and make the atmosphere feel more relaxed.
On the other hand, good listeners can empathize with others’ feelings. They can show interest in the other person by asking the right questions at the right moments and responding appropriately. They can also relate what the other person says to their own thoughts and experiences and empathize with them.
Conversely, poor communicators have the following characteristics:
- They can’t coherently express what they want to say and tell long, boring stories.
- They continue to talk about themselves without caring about the other person’s response.
- They either can’t talk about or will blatantly ignore the other person’s interests.
- They’ll utilize inappropriate uses of language or speaking style, which may discomfort the other person.
Characteristics of poor listeners:
- They tend to focus on their own narrative, even when the other person is talking.
- Sometimes, they’ll switch to topics of their own interest without listening to what the other person says.
- They don’t try to understand what the other person says.

On my way to Los Angeles, there was a minor inconvenience on board my Delta flight. The flight attendant gave me a note saying that I would receive a credit of 2,500 miles. It wasn't a big deal, but I appreciated the action taken by the Delta crew. I confirmed that I was credited 2,500 miles for the 'Service Inconvenience'. This was my first flight since becoming a Silver Medallion Member. Thank you.

Due to the conflict with Russia, airlines are currently prohibited from flying over Russian airspace, causing Seattle-Tokyo flights to take more southern routes. This adds approximately one hour to all transpacific flights.
Pacific Northern Airlines (https://pn.com) had planned to launch a new route from Anchorage to Tokyo this year, but due to the detour caused by the conflict, the Boeing 757 aircraft that PN was planning to use is not capable of flying the additional distance. As a result, the PN service has not yet commenced.
However, there is good news for transpacific travelers: WestJet has launched a new service from Calgary to Tokyo. Currently, the least expensive business class option for travel from Seattle to Tokyo is with WestJet.

How great is that!
On the international DELTA flight, there is a free SMS access but Internet access require fees.
People are connected everywhere now including in the sky. The wrld is more connected than ever. I do not know if that is a good thing but it is the fact. Our way of life is more connected virtualy. The physical connectins are more rare now.
