People post a lot of information on the internet. Needless to say, it’s hard to determine which information is correct and which isn’t. What is correct for one person may not be correct for another. Unfortunately, right and wrong can only be subjective in many cases.

Regrettably, the dissemination of positive or uplifting news faces obstacles, while negative news that evokes emotions such as anger and sadness tends to gain significant traction. For instance, on X, they report that users retweet negative news nearly seven times more frequently than positive news.

Interestingly, platforms like YouTube and X operate on a revenue model tied to content views or reads. In essence, higher viewership translates to increased earnings. As a result, individuals disseminating information for profit tend to prioritize the transmission of negative news. This likely explains the prevalence of negative, if not entirely fake, information circulating online.

It is crucial to recognize that information serves not only as a way to convey facts but also as a tool to generate income. Financial motives drive much of the information circulating on the internet, emphasizing the need for discernment when consuming content online.

 

 

 

 

 

After a nine-hour flight from Seoul, Korea, I safely arrived back in Seattle around 11 AM. The typical Seattle rain greeted me, but as I flew over downtown, the clouds seemed to break. I managed to capture some stunning pictures from the window during the descent. It feels good to be back in Seattle, and I'm looking forward to getting back to work tomorrow, Monday.

 

ソウルからの9時間のフライトの後、午前11時頃にシアトルに無事に到着しました。典型的なシアトルの雨が私を迎えましたが、ダウンタウンを飛び越える間に雲が切れているようでした。降下中に窓から素晴らしい写真を撮ることができました。シアトルに戻ってきて嬉しいですし、明日の月曜日に仕事に戻ることを楽しみにしています。

 

 

 

 

 

I purchased WiFi on board on this flight. 

I am so used to be online all the time, it is difficult yto be totally off line when I fly.

When I fly Delta, I get free WiFi thanks to T-Mobile.

However on Asiana, I had to buy the WiFi option.

The WiFi is quite slow but it is usable.

$21.95 is not too much for 9 hours.

 

 

 

Today is the last day in Tokyo. I'll be getting on the bus to Narita airport in about two hours. It's another beautiful day in Tokyo and the picture is taken this morning but looks exactly like the one I posted yesterday. I packed my baggage, but I have so many gifts, that almost all my baggage are full of goodies. I'm glad I'm not the one who is carrying them.

 

I will be frying from Narita airport to Korea first then I'll be flying from courier to Seattle. I will have couple of hours in Korea or Incheon airport. I think all the people I met in Tokyo and Osaka on this trip. I hope to come back in a few months again.
