Business at PSPINC During the Pandemic
For more than two years now, I haven’t been able to go to Japan due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Specifically since March of 2020. When looking at just sales numbers, my company appears to be running normally thanks to the work we’ve been doing. But it is not without problems. The biggest problem is that we haven’t drummed up any new business in the last two years. Although we’ve continued developing new product releases in the U.S., sales through our resellers in Japan have come to a halt. In short, we haven’t signed a contract with a new reseller. It turns out that it’s quite difficult to come to a reseller agreement when only conducting business online.
PSPINC’s business involves modifying our products and services for Japanese resellers and sell them under their brand in Japan. We’re still looking for resellers to sell our SaaS (software as a service) products in Japan. We hope to get back to doing this when Japan opens back up to the rest of the world.
Some of our SaaS products include:
InforMakers: allows customers to easily create and embed online forms onto their website. Users can also use these forms to conduct surveys, collect information on their customers, and more.
NewsMAIL: a SaaS system for distributing newsletters via email. This was also the same system that was used to send out information on the Tokyo Olympics.
MegaMail: makes it easy to send large files that can’t be sent through traditional email, which is already available in Japan.

I had my one mile walk this afternoon around my office buildings. I walked by the mall next Highland Park and I saw Blue Ginger. It is closed on Monday but it looked more permanent. Is Blue Ginger gone for good? Where did Alex (the owner) go?

This mall has lost a hair styling school, Thai Ginger and Chinese Restaurant and now Blue Giner. It looks bad. I went to Lexus, BMW, Mercedes and Porsche dealership yesterday. They all look dead. I guess dealers and restaurants are like, they all moved to online or out of business.
