Today, another round of tariffs targeting China was announced. This time, it’s a 120% tariff on goods under $800, which had previously been exempt. As a result, even inexpensive Chinese products sold online will now be subject to tariffs, making it even harder for China to sell to the U.S. In response, the stock market dropped sharply again. Honestly, I’m not really thinking about stocks anymore. At this point, all I can think about is wanting to crush China completely.
There seem to be many people who oppose these tariffs, but I wonder if they truly understand that we are dealing with the Chinese Communist Party. If this continues, the U.S. economy could be fundamentally destroyed. Given the choice between the collapse of the U.S. or the collapse of China, I’m not concerned about a little pain.
