Ever since the Internet started and businesses began using the Internet, I have always thought that a website and email are things that each business should have. Though lately I've been wondering if they are really necessary. There are two major reasons for this: first, social media and industry-specific diffusion is advancing, and second, when it comes to email, there is no problem using Gmail. I'm going to limit myself to talking about websites today, so I'll leave the Gmail discussion for another time.
Like myself, there are people who really don't have many opportunities to search for and view websites. Instead, we spend a lot of time reading social media and looking for and watching videos, which makes a website seem worthless. However, is it good for businesses to lose their website and rely on social media?
The first thing you need to think about is how social media is run, so let's think about it. Many social media sites are based on advertising, the collection of information (big data), and the sale of that data. For example, if you search for "buy a computer" on a search site, you will see ads for computers not only on that site, but on other sites as well. Needless to say, this means that the information is not contained within the search site.
The bottom line is that social media has no obligation or responsibility to provide your company's information to customers who need it. Their responsibility is to their advertisers. If you put your company's information only on social media, there is no guarantee that it will appear even if the customer specifies your company’s name. Ignoring social media is dangerous, but having your own website on your own domain is still the most basic minimum to exist on the Internet, in my opinion.
Still, I don't recommend spending a lot of time and money on creating a website. Even a website has to evolve. I think it is a good idea to be able to create a website that you can touch and update yourself. If you have any questions about websites, please feel free to ask, even if they are not made by my company.

Today is the last day of the lease of my car.
Jaguar XF 3.5T ... This was indeed the most powerful and fastest car I have ever owned.
I bought this car on the Black Monday 4 years ago.
It came with the unbelievable deal.
After 36 months, this car only has 13,000 miles and still have two more year of paid maintenance.
I will miss this car.

All visitors and commercial operators will need to make reservations to enter the popular Waiʻānapana State Park on Maui, beginning on March 1. Before the COVID-19 pandemic the popular park, located near the end of the famous Hana Highway in East Maui, had seen increased crowding and a glut of commercial tours. This impacted the adjacent rural community and overall visitor experiences. New fees for entry and parking will also be in effect when the reservation system is launched. Entry and parking for Hawaiʻi residents will still be free.
Wai’ānapanapa, which means glistening waters, with Pa‘iola, its famous black sand beach and stunning coastal views, will be the second state park in Hawaiʻi to require reservations. It is the first to integrate commercial tours into its reservation system. This follows the successful implementation of the Hāʻena State Park reservation system, which was implemented after the 2018 flood. It is largely credited with bringing serenity back to one of the most impacted regions of the state by implementing a reservation and shuttle system and establishing limits on the number of daily visitors. At Wai’ānapanapa, like at Hāʻena on Kaua‘i, parking spaces will be held back to accommodate Hawai‘i residents.
“This balances State Park’s critical need for revenue with the commercial tours paying a fair rate for their use of the park. It enables us to adjust patronage numbers to reduce crowding and impacts on the sensitive resources of the park,” said DLNR Division of State Parks Administrator Curt Cottrell. Also, and just as important, we can reduce the impact on our neighbors. As a former resident of Hana, living right next to Wai’ānapanapa, it feels good to support a process that will help my former neighbors. Quality over quantity is our new target in management,” Cottrell added.
Initially, reservations will be taken 2 weeks in advance due to continuing uncertainties about COVID-19 rules and restrictions. This window will be extended over time. Reservations must be made in advance and no same-day reservations there will be available.
“This new reservation system for Waiʻānapanapa State Park is critical to a larger effort to better manage traffic flow coming into East Maui,” said Senate Majority Leader J. Kalani English, whose district encompasses the area around Waiʻānapanapa . “This is a new way to better manage the impacts of tourism on our local communities and I look forward to working with DLNR to implement these types of systems in other areas of my district.”

Both are good tires.
On my way to my golf club, I was driving trough road construction zone and I hit the curve which puncture (flatten) my front passenger side tire. I called AAA and replaced the flat tier with the spear tire.
I was going to place all tires in few months but I decide now is a good time to replace them all. I drive to the COSTCO TIRE CENTER in Redmind and have them replace all tires. It cost me little over $800 ... ouch.
I was not sure whether to go to COSTCO or Discount Tire ... I choose COSTCO because it was closer and I trust their member pricing. There was a line inside for COVID-19 Vaccines. While I was waiting for my car, I walked around COSTCO ... ed=nded up spending another $100. Ha Ha Ha

I've often seen people spend hundreds of thousands of yen to create a home page, only to leave it unfinished. Then the page gets old and they spend a lot of money to redo it again. This vicious cycle repeats itself every few years, doesn't it?
When creating a website, the production company does a lot of research and designs web pages using the latest technology. The neglected site then becomes old and decrepit in a few years. An unchanged home page will no longer have the power to attract customers. When this happens, a new marketing company will suggest that you redesign it.
Do you think this is the right way to go? The truth is that you need to keep evolving your home page. Yes, replace the photos, change the layout, and swap out the content. You don't have to replace everything at once, just a little at a time.
This is the correct way to manage your home page. This will prevent it from aging, as well as keep it fresh and informative. It's not the end of the world if you want to make changes after you create it. You can improve what you can by yourself little by little, and ask a professional to add necessary functionality. This way, you can lower your operating costs and attract more customers. You want to think about refurbishing your home page from the time you design it.
At my company, we use a simple in-house page editing tool (called a content management system or CMS) to create our websites. This tool can allow you to make edits at any time. Why not create a home page that can be updated as and when required?

With the recent revival of QR codes, everyone understands that if you scan the code with your smartphone, something will happen. My company has developed a number of systems using QR codes. For example, we've developed Click It Audio ( https://clickitaudio.com ), which uses QR codes to play back voices and other audio; Opinion Stand ( https://opinionstand.com ), that collects customer feedback; ImaMenu ( https://imamenu.com ), a touch-less menu system for restaurants, and a parking voucher system where a QR code that can be read with an iPhone ( https://gohaena.com ). These are typical examples of QR code-based systems that we have created.
We hope that you will consider trying to use QR code-based applications within your company. We have also been researching systems using RFID as a next step after QR codes. Mobile devices are becoming more and more popular, and it is not easy to type long URLs into them. QR codes and RFID make it easy to do so.
QR codes and RFID are tools that connect mobile devices to Internet applications. These technologies can be used without license fees in the case of QR codes, and RFID comes down to a few cents per ID. We think it is a good time to take advantage of this.

The next car that I purchased was a used Toyota Land Cruiser FJ80.
It was a great SUV ... the term SUV was not popular back then.
The MPG was about 12MPG ... and V6 engine was not powerful enough but the car was sold.
It was so heaven that I needed new break pad every few thousand miles.

When you make a pit stop in a race, you change the tires and fill up the gas tank. In some cases, other adjustments are made as well. It's amazing how much you can do in such a short amount of time.
How about this situation? The race is in its final stages and will be over in a few laps. However, no matter how you look at it, you don't have enough gas to make it to the finish line. You really need to make a pit stop. So you call the race car back to the pits. What do you do here?
Of course, you don't change the tires and fill up the tank as you normally do in a pit stop. You fill it up with as much gas as you need and send it out of the pit in the shortest time possible. I don't think anyone will hear this and ask why you did't do a full pit stop.
Even when doing everything necessary is the norm, in some situations it may be pointless to do more than the minimum required. This is not to say that we are cutting corners, because the only thing we need here is enough gasoline to get us to the finish line. Pit stops are a means to an end, the goal is to reach the finish line, and it is important not to make this mistake.
Metaphors are a way of explaining things by using different examples that are easy-to-understand. I often use this approach when explaining things.

BMW 320 ... It was not this clean.BMW 528e
It was blue and loved the style.
I sold my Accord and purchased cheap and beat up BMW 320 two door. It wasn't under powered and was g=ugly. I was going to restore it but I never done anything with it. It was so ugly, it looked bad so I sold it and got a newer (still used) BMW 528e. I love the style but it was under powered and engine started to smoke. I needed to replace the head gasket or could be cracked head. So I will soon replace this car as well.

This accident happened Apr 9, 1952.
The airspace over Japan was under control of US Occupation Army.
The plane operated by veteran American plots flew into Oshima Island Volcano Mt. Mihara (about 2,500') after taking off from Tokyo.
The control asked the flight to fly at 2,000' feet for 10 unites. It was retracted by the fact the plane reach Mt. Mihara in 7 minutes.
The conversation between crew and the control has not been released after 69 years.
Government always have a tendency to hide anything that may cause reputation damage. People make mistake. Tha is okay if you learn from it. You cannot learn if you hide the truth.
Circumstances:
En route from Tokyo to Osaka, while cruising about 100 km south of Tokyo in marginal weather conditions, the airplane christened 'Mokusei' (Jupiter) hit the slope of the Mt Mihara (volcano) located on the Oshima Island. The wreckage was found few hours later and all 37 occupants have been killed. Apparently, the airplane was off course at the time of the accident, most probably due to a navigational error on part of the crew.
Probable cause:
Although the Japanese government aircraft accident investigation committee conducted a thorough investigation, it encountered some difficulty because of the rejection by the Occupation authorities of a request from the committee to provide a tape recording of instructions to the distressed aircraft from the Haneda Airport control tower. As a result, the accident investigation was closed with the aviation agency's report that the probable cause was the pilot's operational error.
