The Taiko performance at Gifu Teragoya on Saturday night was great. The guys put on a powerful performance - we were all impressed.

Afterwards they let us try drumming on the big drum (in this picture) if we wanted to. I didn`t try, because I`m not good at keeping a beat, & I didn`t want to embarrass myself (well, more than usual anyway) but some students & teachers tried. Some could do it, but others weren`t so good...

Have you ever tried taiko drumming? Could you do it?

That seems nice. I wish I was there.

I haven't tried taiko drumming but I used to" taiko drumming exercise" which is to pretend beating taiko, so your arms get thin down. 
Though i don't think it worked.

Haha - I`ve heard of `air guitar` playing, but not `air drumming`. I`d love to see you doing it - I`m sure you look really cool... hehe

I've not tried Japanese taiko drumming. But when I was in an elementary school, I've played a tabor for a sports festival in there.
Well, if I would have a chance of taiko drumming, I would try it!!
