According to IS Support Team of PSPINC, my company, my email account is terminating. 😅
Needless to say this is a fake mail sent by some hacker somewhere.

It is like Twi##er employees getting termination letter. In their case it was not fake. It must be difficult to get terminated at your employment if you think you were working very hard and sincerely. I'm sure some people deserve to be terminated but there must be few who are unjustifiably terminated. But the fact remains that the company has not ever made money. So, in that view, terminations were coming.

I need to make sure we make enough money to stay in business.

I sent an email, but never received a reply. I had no choice but to call the person I emailed earlier to ask him about it, and he said he didn’t receive it. Next, I asked him to check his junk folder and, sure enough; it was in his junk folder. There are many cases like this. Needless to say, the cause of this is the countless number of spam e-mails sent every day. No matter how many emails you unsubscribe from, the number never decreases.

They designed spam filters to eliminate spam and phishing e-mails, but false positives are not uncommon. In many cases, spam doesn’t get filtered, but important emails also don’t get delivered. Also, because there is so much spam, people can sometimes overlook important emails.

Email is an important communication platform for our customers. How can we avoid this problem? I’ve been thinking about it recently. And then I realized something. When I communicate with the hospital, I log into the hospital’s portal site and send messages within that site. In essence, I send and receive messages without using an external email service.

Wouldn’t it be convenient if customers could log in when they need to and send messages to and from there? Large hospitals already use this system, but wouldn’t it be nice if we could offer this service at a lower cost at the SME level? My company started prototyping such a service. We’d like to create a system not only for hospitals but also lawyers, accountants, etc. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

The renewal was about $350 .... that is a lot cheaper than another car we have (FORD Mach-e) that is an EV. The RTA (Washington State Rapid Transit Authority Tax) is such a motivation killer to buy a ne car. It is socialism at work that discourages people from getting new and better.

I will keep my Subaru as long as it runs so that I don't have to pay to RTA any more than I have to.

Independent and small software development companies like ours cannot compete in the same market as large companies like Google and Microsoft. No company or organization would hire a small software company to work on a huge project. The same goes for when you’re hiring someone to build a tower building. You wouldn’t hire a small carpenter for that big of a job. And it’s because they don’t have the same kind of resources (people, goods, money, etc.) other than their technology and experience. So, how can small software development companies survive?

I believe they can survive by finding a niche market to target. In English, the word, “niche”, refers to “a specialized segment of the market for a particular kind of product or service”. The strength of a small software development company is that it can frequently work on small projects that don’t require the massive resources a large company has to build up its business.

When you’re doing business in a niche market, you don’t have to be the first one to capture market trends. What is important is understanding what problems customers currently encounter. From there, it’s your job to provide solutions to those problems quickly and at a low cost. Therefore, our products don’t reflect the world’s latest technology. Rather, they’re practical application developments like automating mundane tasks.

Also, to reduce costs and deliver a good product, the development cycle needs to be as short as possible. Needless to say, the largest cost of software development is labor. To shorten the development cycle, products need to be broken down into smaller components. Developing the same function every time you needed it to work would be a waste of time. So, designing a reusable function that people can share and use interchangeably will lead to cost savings.

In software, we use the word, “drawer”, to describe the resources we have. So, the number of function libraries (or drawers) you have in software development is important. If your tasks are time-consuming, why not consider software development? After developing the software, there’s no longer any additional cost, no matter how many times you use it. Today, we call this digital transformation.

I cancelled my Jeep Order

I learned today that my 2023 WRANGLER SAHARA 4xe is not going to start building until Feb next year. So I canceled my order today. I was told that it would be delivered by mid December. I am sorry that I had to cancel but I cannot wait that long.

Decision-Making

I believe the most important criterion to determine a person’s ability to make it as a business owner is his/her ability to make decisions. Running a company requires you to make decisions. And there are very few situations in which you have a full understanding of everything involved before having to decide. Instead, you must decide without much information. Failure to do so will not only result in lost business opportunities, but also significant losses for your company. And I believe the better your decision, the better business owner you are.

But not every decision will produce the right result. It’s quite possible that the other option that you didn’t choose could have resulted in better results. In short, business owners need to choose the best path, based on the information they receive at the time and their experience. There’s also the choice of not deciding because you don’t know what to do. And not making a decision is also a decision in itself.

Let’s consider for a moment what happens if you don’t decide. First off, if you don’t make a decision, you have a problem as a business owner. You’ll lose credibility and trust, both externally and internally, by not making a decision. That is a big problem. As a business owner, it’s also important not to leave decision-making to another person. No matter who makes the decision, the business owner is ultimately responsible.

There are some decisions that can be considered at length with sufficient preparation time, but there are also many cases where an immediate decision is necessary. In such cases, there is usually not enough information available. The only thing we can rely on is past cases and experience. Needless to say, the longer a company has been in business, the more experience the business owner has. I believe that this is a sign of trust in the company. There are times when difficult decisions must be made, but if decisions are made responsibly, I believe that I have fulfilled my responsibility as a business owner regardless of the outcome.
