We went to new RAMEN restaurant, Jinya today for dinner. Food was pretty good and service was not bad either. But here is my problem.
I arrived at Crossroad Mall at 6:22pm, We were seated at 8:24pm. We ordered Gyoza and Ramen. Gyoza came our 6:41pm (15 minuets passed). We ate Gyoza and they took the plates away. Ramen came out 6:57pm. Ramen took over 30 minuets.
The portion looked very small because their bowl so so huge. Three people, 3 Gyoza plates and 3 Ramen + Tax and Tip came out to be $60. You you kidding?
Again, the food is much better than other Bellevue Ramen place. Only if they can turn around food faster, I would have enjoyed it more.
I went to Subway and order Turkey/Bacon/Avocado sandwich. It was $9.00 + tax, almost $10.
Really?
I looked around but I see not $5 sub anymore. I guess I will stick with jimmy John's. I like JJ's sandwich better.
Japanese Kaiten Sushi.
Each plate is $105 yen or $1.05.
For $20, we can feed three people for lunch.
American Vintage … Mega Muffin
320 Yen ($3.20)
I found this banner in front of McDonald's in Japan.
It is called the Mega Muffin.
My kind of breakfast.
There are many standing bars in Japan. Drinking at those standing bars is called KAKU-UCHI. We had KAKU UCHI new year party in Kobe and the chairman of the KOBE KAKU-UCHI ASSOC. is a Bloguru user. It turned out I met 4 Bloguru user at this party.
Very interesting restaurant ... It does not even look like a restaurant but they serve good food.

All this for 1200 Yen ($12). Very nice,
Japanese traditional break fast at Japanese Fast Food restaurant. All this for 460 Yen (About $4.60). Not everything in Japan is expensive. It beats McDonald's but MCDonald's is very popular in Japan.
I went to DIXIE'S BBQ for lunch. This was the first time in years. Actually the last time I was there, the Man was there. Because there were no cars, I bought the place was closed. Well, it was open.
I got pulled pork sandwich with little bit of the man Sauce. The man might be gone but this recipe is still there ann kicking.
