New Twitter Feature Added (Beta)

We are proud to announce the addition of a new beta feature which adds the ability to simultaneously tweet on Twitter when making a new bloguru post. This takes the title of your post and tweets it along with a link back to your original post. To get started visit 'Basic settings' in your control panel and click 'Sign in with Twitter'.

As this feature is still in beta testing, feedback is encouraged. If you have any questions regarding this update please let us know in the comments or via email.

New Aggregator Skin Added

The bloguru aggregator was updated today with a feature that allows you to choose how the date is formatted on your aggregators. All current aggregators will continue to use the relative date format.

Today we took an aggressive step to remove spam comments from Bloguru by removing all comments that contained the word 'viagra'. We've released an update today which corrects a vulnerability in the method comments are submitted. This should help reduce the amount of spam open blogs receive. As a reminder, Bloguru recommends limiting comments to only users who are logged in. You may change your comment settings any time by clicking "Comment Manager" in the control panel.
