Some updates were published to bloguru today:
* Three new skins have been added - "Planet Caravan", “Cake Delight” and “Terminal”
* Comment notification emails will now send properly.
* The random buddy list now correctly chooses a random subset of your buddies.
* The contact email address has been changed from bloguru@pspinc.com to applications@pspinc.com
* The 'remember me' function has been fixed.
* The checkbox to enable/disable displaying an avatar next to a comment now works as intended.
* Some superuser-only tools to repair mojibake in posts submitted by email were added.
* A security issue where a logged in user could hijack another user's account has been fixed.
* Due to the increase in login security, the remembered logged-in bookmarks will no longer work
* If you have issues with your login information not being retained when you close your browser, please logout with the link at the top of the admin page, then log back in.
A new paid feature has also been added - blogs can be set to require a password in order for people other than the owner to read it.
We have recognized the issue happening on IE with the remember me checkbox.
We are working to resolve this issue. Thank you for your patience.
It has been brought to our attention that the 'Remember Me' function is not working properly. We are looking into the issue, and should have a fix available soon.
Today we have updated bloguru with two bugfixes:
- Searching for posts by date sometimes incorrectly omitted posts from the last day of the interval.
- Inactive user notification messages were sometimes being sent in the wrong language.
While we work on a more refined system for disabling commenting on old posts, the duration in which posts can be commented on has been extended to 30 days instead of 7.
To cut down on spam comments, today we updated bloguru to disallow commenting on posts older than seven days.
Today bloguru was updated with three new skins to choose from.
The new skins can be found under the "wide - top freespace" category:
* Coffee Break
* Old Movie
* Blue Hawaii
