This morning bloguru was updated with 5 new skins in the classic width category (Spring Flowers, Summer Sunset, Simple Black, Simple White, and Red Portfolio). Red Portfolio is using a new layout that has the freespace on top.

Today bloguru was updated with six new skins to bring our skin total to 13. Several of these new skins are upgraded versions of our most requested and popular classic skins.

Additionally we are launching a new feature that automatically links your web addresses in your posts. Just paste the address like this: http://en.bloguru.com

Two new skins added & disabled classic skins

Today bloguru was updated with two new skins: Tech Blue, and Sunny Lake. This update brings our new Enhanced Skins out of beta testing becoming bloguru's recommended skin format. With this new update comes all classic skin selections being disabled as well.

We have gotten a lot of feedback about the classic skins and have begun upgrading a variety of them. We are continuously coming out with new skins so please check back often.

New Feature - Social Map

bloguru was updated today with a new feature we call the Social Map. The social map allows each bloguru member to place a marker and identify their location to all visitors of bloguru.

Displaying your address is completely optional and you can remove your marker at any time.

Place your marker by entering an address in your Basic Settings.

Classic skins to be disabled Monday

As our enhanced skins grow and stabilize, we have begin disabling our classic skins and come Monday (21 June 2010) all classic skins will be disabled.

Any users currently using a classic skin will be unaffected however any future skin changes must be to an enhanced skin.

We are in the works of creating more enhanced skins and if anyone would like to request a classic skin be upgraded, please let us know in the comments or via email.

This morning bloguru was updated with several new skins including deBlack and Brick House. We encourage users to try these skins and let us know what you think of them.

Additionally as we move to our new enhanced skin system we will begin disabling some of the less frequently used classic skins. In this update we disabled 22 classic skins. We will begin porting the most popular classic skins over to our new enhanced system soon.

bloguru was updated today with a brand new home page and several new skins. This update comes as part of our SEO (search engine optimization) improvement campaign and should provide users with greater search engine visibility.

• RSS encoding issues


• Latest comments displaying old data


• Access count now only updates on hits to the main blog page (not on every action)


• Images on posts now open in a new window
