Strip Clubs in Japan

May not be Tokyo ... But strip Clubs (Gentlemen's Clubs) are disappearing in all over Japan. It used to be one of the very popular entertainment in Japan but many places like that outside of Japan are closing.

The image above is a strip club called ROCKZA (Pronouced Rokku Za) located in Asakusa area of Tokyo Japan. Rokku ... ６区 ... It means 6th district but sounds like "Rock" music.

This is where "Beat Takeshi (Takeshi Kitano)" started as a stand up. He was an elevator boy.
