Entering Japan Without a Visa
As of writing this newsletter in September of 2022, non-Japanese nationals must have a visa to enter Japan. In addition, foreigners with family in Japan, Japanese companies that guarantee a traveler’s status, and those touring with a tour guide are the only ones who are eligible for a visa. It’s also limited to 50,000 daily acceptances.
However, foreigners will be able to visit Japan without a visa starting October 11th. At the same time, they will also lift the 50,000-person limit. Finally, Japan will open its doors.
I’ve planned a business trip to Japan from October 12th to October 26th. It’ll be my first trip to Japan in two and a half years, and I’m looking forward to seeing how Japan has changed. I’ll be updating my personal blog and social media pages with how things are going in Japan after two and a half years, so please take a look.
